Willie Mullins sets a poser by saddling MACHO MAN and Proactif, who both won impressively at Auteuil. The market is sure to provide vital clues and slight preference is for Macho Man. Quinta Do Lago had Combs back in third when scoring at Punchestown and it looks significant that Jack Kennedy is now aboard the Jessica Harrington-trained gelding, while Munsif was a useful handicapper on the Flat and made a bright start over hurdles when third in a maiden at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting.Prediction : 1st Macho Man 2nd Proactif 3rd Quinta Do Lago

BAMBINO FEVER was a star bumper performer last term, winning Grade 1 races at the Cheltenham and Punchestown Festivals, but tasted defeat for the first time when switched to hurdles on her reappearance at Naas. She should benefit from that run and can confirm her superiority over Cornelienne, who made an eyecatching hurdling debut back in fourth. Alliteration had the unlucky-in-running Susie Lenglen close behind in third when taking a Galway bumper on debut in October. The latter has since won a Tramore bumper and gained some more experience over hurdles, while Miss Doyenne won a Cork bumper last spring and made an encouraging start over hurdles at Down Royal.Prediction : 1st Bambino Fever 2nd Miss Doyenne 3rd Alliteration

FROM THE ASHES is suited by a test of stamina and appears to be on a reasonable mark. The Charles Byrnes-trained gelding filled third spot behind Lonesome Boatman in the Cork National and again made the frame over hurdles last time behind Joyau De Thaix at the Limerick Christmas meeting. Found A Diamond has progressed well since being stepped up in trip and added to a Thurles maiden win when successful over 3m1f at Navan last month. Bal Kauto has proved a good servant to connections and completed a hat-trick last summer, including over 2m6f at the Galway Festival. Any market move for Dippedinmoonlight would be interesting.Prediction : 1st From The Ashes 2nd Found A Diamond 3rd Bal Kauto

BLOOD DESTINY is a solid operator and could give weight away to his rivals. Better ground won't inconvenience him and the last time he raced in a Grade 3 over a similar trip to this one (in Navan, March 2024), he beat the high-class Spillane's Tower by more than six lengths. Drumgill has earned a shot at this company after winning a valuable handicap chase over C&D in November. Michael Kenneally takes 7lb off his back again, which leaves him on a lovely weight. Touch Me Not (second behind Drumgill here) and Tullyhill have chances, while last year's winner The King Of Prs shouldn't be ruled out.Prediction : 1st Blood Destiny 2nd Drumgill 3rd Touch Me Not

KAROLINE BANBOU ought to come on from her first run over fences when runner-up at this track last month. She was outgunned on the run-in, but the winner holds several big-race entries so her effort can be viewed in a better light. She landed her maiden hurdle here. Port Joulain weakened over further in Punchestown, but this bumper and maiden hurdle winner looks set to be involved over this trip. Koori Star is useful over flights and there was some promise in his first two starts over fences, at this venue and in Galway, so he can get into the mix for a cheque.Prediction : 1st Karoline Banbou 2nd Port Joulain 3rd Koori Star

ME WEE BONNIE LASS ran well for a long way in a good contest at Cheltenham before fading on the run-in. This ground will suit her well and it gives her the chance to add a chase victory to three hurdle successes. Jacovec Cavern won nicely in a beginners' chase at Gowran Park in November. Although that form hasn't worked out so far, he has scope for improvement. Blinkers are reapplied on Beggars Rock and there is likely more to come from him.Prediction : 1st Me Wee Bonnie Lass 2nd Jacovec Cavern 3rd Beggars Rock

THE WAGER can improve from an opening runner-up effort at Punchestown last February now switched to Willie Mullins. The horse who beat him by a neck has done plenty to endorse the form including when decisively winning a hurdle race at Clonmel on Thursday. Gordon Elliott fires two darts and Detroit Maverick should appreciate the ground as a former point-to-point winner on good to yielding. Doctor Elvis is another to note.Prediction : 1st The Wager 2nd Detroit Maverick 3rd Doctor Elvis
