Steve Ryder's Free Racing Tips at Newcastle on Tuesday

Tip 1: Em Jay Kay - 1pt Win 

With Azucena likely to take Digital on for the lead, this could set up perfectly for EM JAY KAY (best priced at 4/1) who has good form at this track. The Phil McEntee trained seven-year-old has form figures of 3513 at the track including a victory over 6f off a mark of 59 in November.

Em Jay Kay was only beaten 1 ¼ lengths at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start over this 5f trip and he should be well suited by how this race is run. I expect him to be staying on strongest of all late on.

Tip 2: The Green Man - 1pt Win

Bowood looks a danger back at Newcastle but preference goes to THE GREEN MAN (best priced at 11/4) who was unlucky over this course and distance last time. A winner over 7f here on his penultimate start, the Philip Kirby trained seven-year-old runs here off only a 1lb higher mark than when repeatedly not getting a clear run here last time.

The Green Man could only finish 3rd that day beaten only half a length but he would have won with a clear passage and he should be able to get back to winning ways in this race.  

Tip 2: Aisling Oscar - 1pt Win

The Adrian Keatley trained AISLING OSCAR (best priced at 6/4) is unbeaten in his four starts at Newcastle and he can hopefully complete a five-timer in this race. The five-year-old never wins by a big distance so he has only gone up from a mark of 46 to 60 in that time and he shaped like this drop back in trip from a mile to 7f should suit better than last time.

Aisling Oscar only held on by a neck over the longer distance last time and he should prove hard to beat off only a 4lb higher mark in the same grade.
