HARBOUR ISLAND's second to Supreme contender Mydaddypaddy at Carlisle in November looks the best hurdles form on offer and despite a slightly disappointing effort in a hot Newbury maiden hurdle since, he deserves another chance in a race of this nature. Doctor On Call was also a little underwhelming when a beaten favourite at Windsor, but he chased home a smart prospect at Fontwell prior to that and should be in the mix. October Hill is another to note following a pleasing stable debut in Listed company here.
Prediction : 1st Harbour Island 2nd Doctor On Call 3rd October Hill

Point-to-point and bumper winner Heron In The Park clearly has lots of ability, but she has done plenty wrong during her short timber career to date and might be best watched until getting the hang of things. EREMENKO looks a slightly safer option in terms of today's race. Although she obviously needs to prove her jumping on her hurdles bow, the Walk In The Park mare is certainly bred for the job being a half-sister to last season's Pertemps Final winner Doddiethegreat and she brings some solid NH Flat form to the table. Klassy Pearl and Lyrical Choice are others to watch out for.
Prediction : 1st Eremenko 2nd Heron In The Park 3rd Klassy Pearl

A chance is taken on the fitness of NEWMILL GETAWAY, who makes her first appearance since June. She chased home the now 114-rated Heather Honey at Bangor when last sighted, so potentially looks nicely treated lining up off a mark of 87. Square Du Roule was only beaten a short head over C&D and should remain competitive off 5lb higher, while Smile Back and Snapdance make up the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Newmill Getaway 2nd Square Du Roule 3rd Smile Back

Hypotenus had everything drop his way when scoring over C&D last week, but whether the same happens on this occasion after a 6lb rise remains to be seen. JAIPALETEMPS has been in fine fettle over the past few months, winning three of his last four starts, and the seven-year-old is taken to continue in a similar vein of form. Doncaster scorer Cuban Court may end up being the main threat to the selection off 3lb higher.
Prediction : 1st Jaipaletemps 2nd Cuban Court 3rd Hypotenus

WALK ON HIGH is unbeaten this season having landed a novice hurdle at Uttoxeter in May before returning from a break to score back in handicap company at Plumpton. With confidence high, the nine-year-old is expected to handle a 5lb rise. Aurigny Mill claimed this prize 12 months ago and he returns to hurdling after falling at Kempton on his chasing debut. First-time cheekpieces should also benefit him, while the veteran Brewin'upastorm wasn't disgraced when probably inconvenienced by hurdles being taken out due to the low sun at Aintree. The handicapper dropping him 4lb looks more than fair.
Prediction : 1st Walk On High 2nd Aurigny Mill 3rd Brewinupastorm

This isn't as competitive as the numbers would suggest and the vote goes to TED THE THIEF. Robert Walford's six-year-old has run well on both of his starts over fences, most recently finishing third at Wincanton. That, at the very least, suggested he is up to winning races at this level and with further improvement anticipated, he should go close. Faitque De L'Isle let favourite-backers down at Windsor but is more appealing than many. Watchoutitscookie returns to fences following a good second over hurdles.
Prediction : 1st Ted The Thief 2nd Faitque De LIsle 3rd Watchoutitscookie

Although no match for an impressive scorer at Lingfield, the form has been franked so Little Ledgend should be a threat to all from 2lb lower. Best Night bumped into a similarly commanding winner over the extended 2m here and is a player, although it is BEL OMBRE who shades preference. Neil Mulholland's gelding was well held at big prices in maiden/novice company, but he goes handicapping from a fair opening mark and may well take a leap forward.
Prediction : 1st Bel Ombre 2nd Little Ledgend 3rd Best Night
