The Tony Carroll trained MAGNA arrives in this race chasing a hat-trick of wins. The four-year-old won over this course and distance in December by a length off a mark of 47 before following up at the start of the month by a short head at Southwell off a mark of 51.

The handicapper has raised Magna 4lbs for that narrow victory but that is justified as the runner-up has won twice since and finished 2nd twice since and is now rated 6lbs higher. Oisin Murphy takes over on board for the first time and she looks the one to beat back at Kempton where she has shown her most consistent form.
