MOUDAN relishes testing ground, winning twice over hurdles early last year, and opened his account over fences at the Limerick Christmas meeting. That form has been advertised since and Eoghan Finegan claims a valuable 7lb. Cappucino won a bumper and a maiden hurdle and has been switched to fences this season, going close at Tramore last time. Liz Doyle's charge was touched off by Rockbrook, who has won again since, while Kilbrin Rocco is one to consider after justifying favouritism at Clonmel. Glenashling and Big Stage are others to note.
Prediction : 1st Moudan 2nd Cappucino 3rd Kilbrin Rocco

DECIMATION is quite lightly raced for a veteran and gained his only previous win on heavy ground in a Down Royal maiden hurdle. He has performed with plenty of credit when placed on his latest two starts and meets Hitthehayson on 12lb better terms than when beaten under four lengths by that rival over an extended 3m here in November. Gringo D'aubrelle fell last time, but won a valuable Navan handicap hurdle on his penultimate start and is well treated over fences. Others to consider include Bigbraveboy and God Help Us.
Prediction : 1st Decimation 2nd Gringo Daubrelle 3rd Bigbraveboy

OLDSCHOOL OUTLAW has progressed really well since joining Gordon Elliott and the recent JP McManus acquisition can complete a hat-trick. The six-year-old took a Listed bumper at Navan in good style before ending the unbeaten record of Bambino Fever when switched to hurdles at Naas. The form of that maiden has been well advertised since and she now has most to fear from Place De La Nation. The Willie Mullins-trained mare was a creditable fifth in the Triumph Hurdle last spring and has won both outings since returning this season, including a facile success when long odds-on here on New Year's Day. Chosen Comrade and Tir Og may prove best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Oldschool Outlaw 2nd Place De La Nation 3rd Tir Og

SARATOGA looked like he would improve from his initial outing over timber at Punchestown on New Year's Eve. The smart Flat performer put in a couple of sticky jumps, but stayed on into third behind Immediate Effect. He should have learned a bit from the experience and gets a nice chunk of weight from his elders. Shuttle Diplomacy sets the standard with his rating of 126 and ran a solid race when chasing home King Rasko Grey at Limerick over Christmas. Lincoln Du Seuil has been mid-division on his two runs for Willie Mullins, but the French bumper winner may be able to get closer now.
Prediction : 1st Saratoga 2nd Shuttle Diplomacy 3rd Lincoln Du Seuil

SOUND AS A BELL has a big chance if running to his mark of 107. The point-to-point winner didn't perform too badly on his most recent outing at Punchestown when sixth to a decent sort in I Started A Joke. This is a much easier task. His stablemate Le Tatoue Madrik hasn't made much impression in a couple of strong races, but could get more involved at this level. Gunnery Sergeant was mid-division in a hot contest won by stablemate Classical Creek at Navan and it would be no surprise to see him play a much bigger role in this company.
Prediction : 1st Sound As A Bell 2nd Gunnery Sergeant 3rd Le Tatoue Madrik

Our Uncle Jack was impressive when allowed to dominate at Clonmel and has to be respected, despite a 12lb hike for that wide-margin success. However, the vote goes to DAIRY FORCE, who is interesting on his first outing for Gordon Elliott. The Workforce gelding was a solid fourth when last seen at Thurles in November and may have been closer but for a peck at the last. There could still be upside in the seven-year-old. Galavanting George has shaped with promise in a couple of maiden hurdles and is one to note on his handicap debut.
Prediction : 1st Dairy Force 2nd Our Uncle Jack 3rd Galavanting George

GREEN HINT ran a big race when second in the Goffs Defender Bumper and can make a successful start for Willie Mullins. The winner of that Punchestown Festival contest was disappointing at Huntingdon last month, but the third has been an impressive winner this season. Generous Risk has been placed in three bumpers, most recently at Leopardstown over Christmas, and looks the obvious danger. Some See Stars ran a big race here on New Year's Day and is another to consider, while point-to-point winner Barnpark is worth noting in the market.
Prediction : 1st Green Hint 2nd Generous Risk 3rd Barnpark
