16:28 Wolverhampton
4:28 WOLVERHAMPTON – BUNGLE BAY – 0.5pts EW
Best odds 10/1 available at time of publishing.
How’s The Guvnor has to race here under a 5lb penalty from Stall 9 and that may give the advantage to course specialist BUNGLE BAY (best priced at 10/1). The James Evans trained seven-year-old has won eight times in his career with all of those victories coming at this track. He won by a neck on his penultimate start off a mark of 52 before finishing midfield at Newcastle on his next start off a mark of 55.
Bungle Bay won off this mark of 55 in March and off a mark of 56 previously so he remains well handicapped and is well drawn in Stall 1. He looks sure to be involved in the finish after a 61 day break.

5:00 WOLVERHAMPTON – BAD HABITS – 1pt WIN
Best odds 10/3 available at time of publishing.
The Ruth Carr trained BAD HABITS (best priced at 10/3) is another who will be suited by this return to Wolverhampton. The four-year-old beat Dapper Gee Gee by a length over this course and distance in December and that rival has boosted the form winning on his next start off the same mark.
Bad Habits won that day off a mark of 51 and following two respectable runs at Southwell and Newcastle off higher marks, he now returns to Wolverhampton off a mark of 53. In weak 0-55 handicap, he should prove hard to beat.
