Tip 1: KITZBUHEL - 1.5 POINTS WIN

Best odds of 5/4 at SpreadEx while publishing.

In the big race at Sandown, I really like the claims of KITZBUHEL (NAP), who can follow up his Kempton success with another Grade 1 in the feature race at Sandown. His assured jumping will be a major asset around this venue and Harry Cobden is booked to ride.

Sixmilebridge was a horse I had on my radar but I really don’t like the way he operates a fence and he won’t afford to make any mistakes around this course. The selection, however, thrives in that department and we can expect him to be ridden positively again given he stays further.

I just get the impression that he’s a better horse than Kala Conti as well, who was rated much lower than him over hurdles. I think he’s a good price to make it three wins from three over fences.

Tip 2 - FORTUNATE MAN - 1 POINT WIN

Best odds of 15/8 at PricedUp while publishing.

Mr Vango might be hard to pass in the final race on the card but conceding so much weight to FORTUNATE MAN could prove troublesome.

The seven-year-old won impressively at Aintree when last seen and Harry Cobden takes the ride this time. Just on the balance of his short-head second to O’Connell at Carlisle in December of 2024, he must still be well treated.

The winner was getting a lot of weight from the selection and is now rated in the high 130s, so off a mark of 128, combined with a low weight, I really like his claims.
