PRAIRIE GIRL has progressed since switched to the Polytrack this winter and gets the vote to record her third victory over C&D. The Danny Murphy-trained filly had Dontspoilasale, who has won since, over three lengths back in fourth when showing good pace throughout last time, although a combined rise of 23lb for those wins certainly won't make life easy. Clonmacash won over this trip at the Curragh last summer and gained his fourth victory at this venue when scoring in decisive fashion here last month, while stablemate I'm Spartacus has gained all his career wins over 6f but can't be lightly discounted. Cuban Grey won over C&D on his reappearance early last year and progressed really well on turf.
Prediction : 1st Prairie Girl 2nd Clonmacash 3rd Im Spartacus

VALIANT FORCE was a smart juvenile recording a 150/1 shock in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot and also went close at the Breeders' Cup. He's gained all four subsequent wins at this venue, the latest of which came over this trip on his penultimate start. The selection finished a length and a half behind Little Queenie here in November but now enjoys a nice swing at the weights. Little Queenie has proved a real credit to connections winning eight times in sprint handicaps and typically showed great pace throughout when successful over 6f here last time. Kerdos won four times for Clive Cox and, having been highly tried last year, is an interesting addition to the Stephen Thorne yard.
Prediction : 1st Valiant Force 2nd Little Queenie 3rd Kerdos

TRIBAL STAR has gained both wins at this venue including the valuable Red God Handicap over an extended 1m2f last summer. The Ado McGuinness-trained gelding is proven over this stamina test having gone close in another valuable handicap at Chester and should benefit from his reappearance behind the Robson De Aguiar pair Bryant and Dallas Star over C&D last month. De Aguiar is again doubly represented here and What's Your Game is an interesting rival, having won a 1m4f Cork handicap and finished second to Carmers in the Listed Yeats Stakes at Navan. He now reappears after an eight-month absence, while stablemate Crypto Force was far from disgraced over 1m6f at Royal Ascot last year.
Prediction : 1st Tribal Star 2nd Whats Your Game 3rd Crypto Force

Robson De Aguiar saddles two strong contenders and hopefully FATE'S GAMBIT can take a step forward from a promising debut in a maiden over C&D last month. The selection was beaten by a well-fancied newcomer and the pair finished clear of the remainder. Stablemate Flanker Jet has a lot more experience and won the other division of the aforementioned maiden in a slower time. Dancing Saxon kept on well here over 6f before not enjoying the clearest of passages in a handicap over C&D and is certainly a threat with cheekpieces now applied.
Prediction : 1st Fates Gambit 2nd Dancing Saxon 3rd Flanker Jet

Runner-up on his stable debut here earlier this month, GO OUT can step up a place. Having his first run in this country, the Danny Murphy-trained gelding shaped with plenty of promise in taking minor honours. Sure to have benefitted from that first start since April, the four-year-old should strip fitter here. A return to 7f could also bring about further improvement in the lightly-raced son of Hello Youmzain. Mehman, who finished one place behind the selection in that aforementioned contest, ran well when second behind a well-handicapped rival last time. The Denis Hogan-trained gelding should again be a leading contender. Recent course and distance winner Una Matata is an in-form mare that has to be respected.
Prediction : 1st Go Out 2nd Mehman 3rd Una Matata

With a strong pace virtually guaranteed, BEAT THE DEVIL can register a second course and distance success. A strong traveller, who needs to be held up and delivered late, the Patrick Magee-trained gelding was an impressive winner here earlier this month. Having had his excuses next time, the four-year-old was back to something like his best when runner-up on his most recent visit here. Desert Of The Sea shaped well enough last time to suggest that he is capable of scoring on this company. He has to be of interest sporting first-time cheekpieces. Georg Zhukov, a winner over C&D on his stable debut, is another with leading claims in a competitive heat.
Prediction : 1st Beat The Devil 2nd Desert Of The Sea 3rd Georg Zhukov

A promising second on his recent stable debut, SATONO CHEVALIER can go one better. A three-time course and distance winner in the past, the eight-year-old had rather lost his way before shaping much better on his first start for Aidan Melia earlier this month. Provided that he can reproduce that effort, the son of Invincible Spirit looks the one to beat in this finale. Recent course winner Thompson Gunner has every chance if staying this trip and may prove to be the main threat if doing so. Church Mountain blotted his copybook here last week but would be a serious threat if on a going day.
Prediction : 1st Satono Chevalier 2nd Thompson Gunner 3rd Church Mountain
