The seven-year-old has been running with credit on his last couple of starts and his recent third off 1lb higher earns him the vote. La Rochette and Farandaway can fight it out for the minor honours.

A 3lb rise for his latest victory may not be enough to stop him from continuing his fine run of form. Lion's House (third) and Water Of Leith (fourth) were closely matched here on Saturday and the pair are likely to be competitive once again, while others to note are Amerjeet and The Fixer.
