Hors Jeu is 3lb higher than his narrow defeat at Hereford 12 days ago and is expected to be on the premises once more, while Willie Shake Hands should appreciate a return to this class.

Hung Jury is best known as a chaser and his previous efforts over timber suggest that he has plenty to find with penalised winners Skuna Bay and LON CHANEY. Preference is for the latter, who has improved with each outing under Rules and arrives on the back of a C&D victory. The aforementioned Skuna Bay should appreciate this greater emphasis on stamina and is unlikely to be far away.

A confident vote goes to ITSEEMSLIKEIT, who made a sparkling chasing debut over C&D before following up cosily at Ffos Las. A 7lb rise might not have been enough to stop the progressive seven-year-old anyway, but Rian Corcoran's claim gives him an even better chance. Minella Crooner lost his way for Gordon Elliott last term but he could be revitalised by a change of scenery, whilst Saint Palais should be happier back over fences.

MADAME LA PAPILLON has finished second to two useful geldings on her previous starts over hurdles and she could be hard to beat if producing that level of form back against her own sex. Queenie St Clair also brings solid form to the table but a 7lb penalty for winning at Wincanton on Boxing Day could leaver her vulnerable. Any market support for I Heard A Rumour would have to be noted.

INION TIOGAIR was unfortunate to bump into a very well-handicapped rival when second at Lingfield last month and she could go one better in this company. Morning Mayhem's recent third at Wincanton suggests that he is likely to be the main threat to the selection, although Churchman showed much more when making the frame at Warwick and could improve further in first-time cheekpieces.
