Lightly-raced eight-year-old COYOTE SPIRIT has been running well and is his trainer's first-string, from six runners. The selection has proven himself on testing ground, has run well at this course on a few occasions in the past and now contests a winnable maiden. Stablemate Whinney Hill arguably has better form and should not be discounted, while Cock And Bull and Muhaajim are others to note. Prediction : 1st Coyote Spirit 2nd Whinney Hill 3rd Cock And Bull

ZANOOSH is the highest-rated runner and has good recent form. Smartly-bred, the selection defeated subsequent-scorer Fillyoureye in December and followed up in a course-and-distance handicap last month. She likes testing ground and can continue to progress. I'll Raise A Glass is another with strong claims, while Changeyourstars scored at Limerick at Christmas but has a few pounds to find at these weights with the selection on their Fairyhouse form last November. Prediction : 1st Zanoosh 2nd Ill Raise A Glass 3rd Changeyourstars

STAFFORDSHIRE KNOT has returned to form this season and has both a light weight and suitable ground conditions. He finished second in the Galmoy last month and again avoids any penalty in this race. Hiddenvalley Lake won the 2024 renewal and landed the Liverpool Hurdle last April, but lacks a recent run and has a 9lb penalty. Last year's winner Maxxum is next best. Prediction : 1st Staffordshire Knot 2nd Hiddenvalley Lake 3rd Maxxum

VALLON DU PLESSIS ran well on handicap debut last month and can progress stepping up to this distance. Out of a French chase-winner, the selection showed little prior to Punchestown but having finished that race nicely, looks likely to win from his rating. The Miracle Man has been running consistently well and should again figure, while Teds Corner has also been running well and is another with strong claims. Prediction : 1st Vallon Du Plessis 2nd Teds Corner 3rd The Miracle Man

OSCARS BROTHER has taken well to fences and can complete a hat-trick. The Connor King-trained gelding stayed well over hurdles and the form of his Grade 2 victory over this trip at Punchestown, with Bossofthebrownies back in third, has been advertised since. Gold Dancer has won three times over fences, including twice in Grade 3 events, and subsequently came up against some smart types at the highest level. He had Western Walk three lengths behind when the pair took minor honours behind Final Demand at the Limerick Christmas meeting.Prediction : 1st Oscars Brother 2nd Gold Dancer 3rd Western Walk

EVIES VLADIMIR needs to bounce back after a disappointing effort over 2m6f at Punchestown, but previously advertised his claims when beating all bar better fancied stablemate The Lovely Man over C&D with Bigbraveboy and Ceroc both behind. The Shirocco gelding has gained both previous victories on testing ground and may have most to fear from Gringo D'aubrelle, who won a valuable 3m1f handicap hurdle here on his penultimate start and races off an 18lb lower mark than his current hurdle rating. Bigbraveboy reversed places with the selection in the aforementioned 2m6f Punchestown event and merits respect.Prediction : 1st Evies Vladimir 2nd Gringo Daubrelle 3rd Bigbraveboy

SOUL ASYLUM was narrowly denied in a point-to-point at Dromahane in November and was snapped up by current connections later that month for 280,000 pounds. The form has been boosted with the well-beaten third scoring next time and he gets the vote over In A Sonnet, who was also purchased by Gigginstown for 135,000 pounds after winning a UK point-to-point last spring. Begorra Man showed plenty of promise both over hurdles and in a bumper last term, including when runner-up to the impressive Gameofinches at Punchestown. City Of Cork should benefit from his hurdle debut here in December.Prediction : 1st Soul Asylum 2nd Begorra Man 3rd In A Sonnet
