SIR LES PATTERSON ran on strongly to win in the same grade over C&D in November, which is notable form. Connections pinpointed the valuable Good Friday card at Newcastle for their talented sprinter, for which he needs one more run to be eligible. Prairie Girl is a real speedball over 5f, winning three of her last four races and being demoted from first in the other. It will be interesting to see how she copes with the extra furlong. Collective Power travelled well in winning in a lesser grade over track and trip, while Little Queenie is likely to be prominent from stall one. Apache Outlaw could be the pick of Ado McGuinness' trio.Prediction : 1st Sir Les Patterson 2nd Prairie Girl 3rd Collective Power

First-time cheekpieces could eke out a bit more from GO OUT, who has finished second on his two appearances here, beaten less than a length on both occasions. Je Suis Celebre looks dangerous on his first start for Stephen Thorne. He just failed to get off the mark at Kempton last month for his former trainer Ian Williams. Battle Borne was gambled on and kept the odds-on winner more than honest over 1m here last week, while Oxford Circus outran his odds when a staying-on third on debut over 6f at the same meeting. Reposado and Gaiety Girl aren't out of it.Prediction : 1st Go Out 2nd Je Suis Celebre 3rd Battle Borne

The last time OICHE RUA contested the '70' grade, she was victorious over C&D in November. She is back down to the same mark and has been acquitting herself reasonably well at a higher level since. Thaloria enjoyed her handicap debut when winning here from a tough draw last month and ought to be a contender, despite a 7lb rise. Notforalongtime is a 10-time winner who is capable of popping up, while Lahore Da King enjoys this trip in Dundalk and shouldn't be passed over. Porsche Lad has joined a new stable and is a trip-versatile sort with a chance.Prediction : 1st Oiche Rua 2nd Thaloria 3rd Notforalongtime

ASTRONOMICALLY has filled the runner-up berth on her last three appearances and cheekpieces are tried in a bid to make the breakthrough. She hasn't been beaten far in those races and a fillies' maiden should be within her compass. Eclat ran a solid race when a place behind Astronomically on debut and can improve. Lady In Gold could be open to progress on her second start. Joseph O'Brien's charge was strong in the betting for her introduction over 7f, but a tardy start did for her and she came in eighth. O'Brien also saddles Vishaya, who was weak in the market ahead of her first start in the same race, yet finished third.Prediction : 1st Astronomically 2nd Eclat 3rd Lady In Gold

PINK OXALIS, one of three Stephen Thorne representatives, could be finishing off better than most. There's plenty to like about her last three runs in winning a valuable fillies' handicap at Leopardstown before finishing fifth and a close seventh in Listed races at Naas and here respectively. Stablemate Far From Dandy registered a C&D brace and is right in the mix for prize money. Carolina Jetstream gamely made all in a rated race over a furlong shorter last month and has her chance, while Thorne's Instant Appeal is another to consider. Moyassr is markedly up in class, but he is on a hat-trick and Reese Holohan's claim has him on a very light weight.Prediction : 1st Pink Oxalis 2nd Far From Dandy 3rd Carolina Jetstream
18:15 Dundalk
VOICE OF REASON has been a revelation over this trip at Dundalk, winning three times since October. He's a tough sort who knows how to battle once he comes off the bridle in the straight. Crucially, he remains in the same grade that he won his last two races in. Unterberg is a real credit to Laura Hourigan and was a ready winner over an extended 10 furlongs last week, so has to rate a threat. Tyraxes receives a fair bit of weight from Voice Of Reason and is entitled to respect on the back of two runner-up finishes. He is lightly raced and open to more progression. Trishuli River is another eyeing a cheque.Prediction : 1st Voice Of Reason 2nd Unterberg 3rd Tyraxes
18:45 Dundalk
STORM ERIC is on an appealing mark with Adam Grant's 7lb claim factored in. The seven-year-old has been getting closer to another victory in posting two placed efforts in January, including when second over this trip on his latest outing. Not Even Maybe is lowly rated, but hasn't performed badly in her last couple of starts over C&D (fourth and sixth) and could outrun her odds. Doctor Grace was beaten a neck over track and trip at the end of last month and will be gunning for her fifth career success. Marians Gal and Eighty Eight look the pick of the remainder.Prediction : 1st Storm Eric 2nd Not Even Maybe 3rd Doctor Grace
19:15 Dundalk
ARRIETTY came home nicely in a maiden over C&D last month and was clear of the third so has every chance of going one better. Dawn Flame sprang an 18/1 surprise in a handicap over 1m and tries this trip for the first time. His half-sister won over 10 furlongs at Lingfield last year, which bodes well. Miami Destination is the highest rated in the line-up and kept good company in sprints as a juvenile. She was behind Dawn Flame in fifth here and also tries a new distance. Divelment and So Must I can't be ruled out in what could become a tactical affair.Prediction : 1st Arrietty 2nd Dawn Flame 3rd Miami Destination
