A chance can be taken on BOOK OF LIFE, who has twice shaped with promise at Newcastle since the turn of the year. Patrick Morris' charge was rated a whopping 30lb higher back in the spring of 2024 and, although not the easiest to win with, this looks like a decent opportunity. Ardaddy has been a model of consistency in recent starts and must enter calculations, as must Amarachi, who went agonisingly close at Chelmsford a couple of weeks ago. Prediction : 1st Book Of Life 2nd Ardaddy 3rd Amarachi

BENACRE was able to build on an encouraging second-placed effort to go one better at Newcastle three weeks ago. Despite only winning by a head, Charlie Johnston's gelding was always in control and might have been underestimated by a 1lb rise. Maximising was back in fourth that day but is open to greater improvement than the selection, while Abduction and Beattie Is Back also have form ties with Benacre and must not be overlooked. Prediction : 1st Benacre 2nd Maximising 3rd Abduction

Miss Lady Grace has run well on a number of occasions so far and can give another good account of herself, but she sets only a modest standard and STARGLOW is preferred. Charlie Appleby's colt is closely related to Group 3 winner and French Guineas-fourth Romantic Style amongst others, so it's likely he'll be good enough to land this. Bu Hail made a low-key introduction at Salisbury in October, but switching to the all-weather on the back of a 148-day absence might bring about some improvement. Prediction : 1st Starglow 2nd Miss Lady Grace 3rd Bu Hail

Kevin Ryan's yard is back among the winners and COPARISI is fancied to make a bold bid on her return to action. Beaten only a neck at Redcar in October, the unexposed daughter of Ardad is likely to prove competitive off her current mark. Elashgar is another with plenty of scope handicapping for the first time, while Doilookokay could be seen in a better light with a recent comeback fourth at Newcastle under his belt.Prediction : 1st Coparisi 2nd Elashgar 3rd Doilookokay

Second at Lingfield recently, Cayman Tai can race off an unchanged mark and another good account looks assured. Beaumadier could also shape well having finished fourth when last seen over C&D, while the 2024 winner GUSTAV GRAVES ran into all kinds of trouble in a tougher contest here a fortnight ago. Only 1lb higher than when successful at the track in December, Derek Shaw's sprinter looks worthy of another chance back at this level.Prediction : 1st Gustav Graves 2nd Cayman Tai 3rd Beaumadier

FRANCESCO BARACCA has done most of his winning over further, but he is versatile regarding distance and dropping back down to 1m4f should be within range as he bids for a hat-trick of course wins. The son of Golden Horn has also performed well at this level and stepping back up in class shouldn't be much of an issue either. Gemmari won readily at Chelmsford but an 8lb rise looks harsh. Therefore, Pride Of Donegal could be a bigger danger if the first-time visor draws improvement. Prediction : 1st Francesco Baracca 2nd Pride Of Donegal 3rd Gemmari
20:15 Wolverhampton
ANEIRIN'S SWORD has filled the runner-up berth three times since winning at Chelmsford in early January and stepping the three-year-old up to a slightly longer trip, with cheekpieces added, could break the hoodoo. There has been very little to crab about his individual performances and a race such as this should be within his range. High Chieftain and Inherent Resolve are handicap debutants to monitor in the betting market, although Sup Of Red is more wily and could be a bigger danger on just her second start for Adrian Wintle. Prediction : 1st Aneirins Sword 2nd Sup Of Red 3rd High Chieftain
