Although shouldering top weight in a competitive race of this nature is no easy task, the progressive nine-year-old borders on being a Graded performer and is capable of getting the job done. Dartmoor Pirate is an obvious danger looking to complete a hat-trick of wins, while New Order and Kelce are others to throw into the mix.

There was plenty of encouragement to be gleaned from IVOR BEAR's debut fourth in a Listed event at Cheltenham and he sets a clear standard now dropping in class. He should put that experience to good use and a breakthrough victory beckons. Friendly Glance is a brother to several decent sorts and possesses enough speed in his pedigree to land a bumper. Alan King's newcomer is feared most, ahead of Cotton Socks, who has made the frame on both outings to date.
