Laristote could only manage seventh on his debut over timber at Wetherby, but sports a first-time tongue-tie and has since undergone a wind operation so he is one to watch. Liberty Coach completes the shortlist.

ALRIGHT DAI arrives in fine fettle having won over hurdles at Taunton before making a successful start over fences at Fontwell. Despite a 7lb rise, Neil Mulholland's gelding makes plenty of appeal stepping back up in trip. Le Grand Vert bounced back to form when returning to the UK at Ayr and a repeat of that display would give him every chance. Realisation and Upfordebate head the remainder.

POWEROFJET didn't appear to stay 2m3f at Catterick and dropping back in trip gives him a strong chance of getting back to winning ways. The seven-year-old struck at Newcastle on his penultimate start and it wouldn't be a surprise if he had more to offer in this sphere. Intenzo is open to improvement on his handicap/chase debut, while Clean Getaway heads the remainder.

CRIMSON OCEAN shaped with plenty of encouragement on her racecourse debut when fourth at Wetherby in November and she wouldn't need to improve much from that effort to get off the mark.
