LAHAN KINGMAN finished third in behind a couple of subsequent winners on her debut at Newbury last August and the daughter of Kingman is suggested as the first to consider. Her experience over 7f may give her an edge over Caballo Grande, who was a visually impressive winner at Southwell when last seen. That form hasn't worked out though, and he will need to prove himself over this extra furlong. Glasgow Kiss and Leonie could also find improvement and neither should be underestimated.

None of these come without risk but YEHUDI has shown versatility regarding distance and he was unlucky to be caught towards the finish over 7f at Kempton most recently. Billy Loughnane is back aboard today and a similar level of performance might be enough to break his maiden tag. Good Karma (third) was only a length behind the second-placed Al Hofzan when they clashed over C&D a fortnight ago and whilst there should be little to separate the pair again, he could be the bigger threat.

Others to note include Von Krolock and Punchbowl Flyer.

Arlecchino's Rex defeated AL SHABAB (second) over C&D a fortnight ago, but the latter is 4lb better off down in classified company and may well turn the tables. Keeper Of Secrets isn't favoured at the weights but he does have few miles on the clock, while the addition of first-time cheekpieces could help. Man Is King might not be far away either.

A creditable third at York in October, she returns to action from an unchanged mark and has to be of interest ahead of her all-weather debut.

Having been narrowly denied at Kempton last time, FAITHFUL DREAM will be hard to keep out of the finish once again. He had to be switched for a clear run at a crucial stage, so Mick Appleby's sprinter makes plenty of appeal. A Lott Of Kane finished a close third over the minimum trip at Lingfield recently and should benefit from a return to further, while Mademoiselle Belle is usually in the mix at this level.

PHAEDRA improved for a drop in trip when beaten only a neck at Southwell last Monday. That was her first start for Joey Ramsden's yard too, and she looks set to take advantage of her current mark sooner rather than later on that evidence. Amber Honey posted a much better effort over C&D last month. She could feature if able to back it up, while a case can also be made for King Of Speed in an open contest.
