CARLTON was successful on the all-weather at Chelmsford before bolting up here a week ago and he is incredibly difficult to oppose, despite having to shoulder a 7lb penalty. Snapius has posted a number of positive efforts this season but minor honours could be his best hope, while Supreme Shot is still open to improvement. Ikigai Star drops in class and although he has lost his way a bit, he is a dual course winner and has had wind surgery since he was last seen.

He is just 1lb higher than when scoring at Southwell in December and wasn't disgraced when chasing home an in-form mare at the same venue earlier this month. Hobie might fare best of the remainder.
