Enjoy D'allen made virtually every yard of the running to return to winning ways at Plumpton last month and he has to be respected for the in-form Neil King stable. Asa also got her head back in front when scoring at Catterick, but it's hard to get away from BALLIN BAY. Rebecca Menzies' gelding easily completed a double over the smaller obstacles here on his most recent start and can transfer that form to fences.
Prediction : 1st Ballin Bay 2nd Enjoy Dallen 3rd Asa

Cosmic Soul went in by just over a length over 2m1f here recently and is sure to attract plenty of support, but the step up in trip poses question marks. With that in mind, DE DELI COUNTER gets the vote. Mark Walford's charge hit the woodwork over an extended 2m4f at Market Rasen in February and if running to that level of form again, he could prove tough to beat. Expelliarmus can't be ruled out either.
Prediction : 1st De Deli Counter 2nd Cosmic Soul 3rd Expelliarmus

A King Of Magic got up in the final strides to get off the mark at Taunton last month and should mount a bold bid to follow up, but he might find it tough to give his penalty away to PASSING DIAMOND. Ben Haslam's six-year-old finished behind a subsequent winner and Willie Mullins' hot favourite when third at Carlisle and is likely to have more to offer. Buddah Castle is another to watch out for.
Prediction : 1st Passing Diamond 2nd A King Of Magic 3rd Buddah Castle

DILLARCHIE was able to build on a couple of creditable efforts, including a C&D third, to score at Catterick last month. Joanne Foster's charge had race-favourite It's Maisy (fourth) well in arrears and a 4lb swing in the weights shouldn't be enough to see that form reversed. Scudamore continues to run well in defeat, though, and he is arguably the bigger threat.
Prediction : 1st Dillarchie 2nd Scudamore 3rd Its Maisy

SIEGE OF ACRES wasn't the most fluent on his chasing bow at Musselburgh but Donald McCain's five-year-old ought to have learned plenty for that and is, perhaps crucially, open to further improvement than all of these. Veteran Valence D'Aumont drops in class having been well held at Newcastle latest and is considered, while Benefit Ben might do better back over the larger obstacles.
Prediction : 1st Siege Of Acres 2nd Valence DAumont 3rd Benefit Ben

Most of these have a little to prove so it might be worth taking a chance on KING SACRE. Nigel Hawke's gelding displayed only moderate promise in bumpers/maiden hurdles, but he's related to a trio of winners, including the useful Emir Sacree, and could prove to be better than an opening mark of 100. Ground conditions might have counted against Lights Go Down at Ayr but he can't be underestimated, and nor can Telhimlisten, who was in good form when last seen over a year ago.
Prediction : 1st King Sacre 2nd Lights Go Down 3rd Telhimlisten
