3:32 Chepstow

Ben Solo (1pt)

Best price 11/4 at the time of publishing.

This looks a competitive handicap but preference goes to BEN SOLO (best priced at 11/4) who is now fitted with a first-time tongue tie. The Rebecca Curtis trained seven-year-old won over this course and distance in November before finishing a close 2nd on his next start. He looked the most likely winner when unseating his rider at the third last fence here in December before being outclassed at the Cheltenham Festival last time.

Returned back to Chepstow, Ben Solo should be able to bounce back in this race.

Dedicated Hero (1pt)

Best price 3/1 at the time of publishing.

The Sandy Thomson trained DEDICATED HERO (best priced at 11/4) has failed to complete in his previous two starts but will appreciate this drop down in grade. The seven-year-old finished a close 2nd behind Meetmebythesea at Ayr in January over fences with that rival now rated 8lbs higher having won at the Cheltenham Festival.

Dedicated Hero stopped quickly when pulling up in the valuable Morebattle Hurdle last time but has had a wind operation since. He now drops into a Class 4 0-120 handicap for the first time in his career and should prove hard to beat.
