The hat-trick seeking Lady Dora Mae arrives on the back of a narrow victory at Kempton and a 1lb rise in the ratings shouldn't prevent another bold showing. However, the daughter of Space Blues would make more appeal over further and it may be worth chancing SO SASSY. James Fanshawe's filly has been performing with credit over 6f and reverting to 7f could eke out the necessary improvement. Handle With Care and Cool Molly are others of interest.
Prediction : 1st So Sassy 2nd Lady Dora Mae 3rd Handle With Care

Having scored a shade cosily at Southwell recently, St Faz isn't easily dismissed in his quest for a four-timer. Although the reintroduction of Conor Whiteley's 7lb claim should see the six-year-old in the thick of the action, preference is for RIYAMI. Denis Hogan's gelding was rejuvenated by a wind procedure when landing the spoils at Dundalk last month and he still looks nicely treated. Shrimp Shady and Arc Zoosve are other key players.
Prediction : 1st Riyami 2nd St Faz 3rd Shrimp Shady

DARK ACE broke the track record when landing a nice purse at Wolverhampton recently and is one to keep on the right side of. A 4lb higher mark doesn't appear excessive and a switch to Polytrack shouldn't prevent another bold bid. Silky Wilkie is another who likes a strong pace to aim at and he's feared most in his current vein of form, ahead of Accrual, who has been cut some slack from the assessor.
Prediction : 1st Dark Ace 2nd Silky Wilkie 3rd Accrual

Last year's winner Hitched has to be respected once again, although marginal preference is for GREAT BEDWYN. Richard Hannon's gelding was second at Kempton a month ago and that form was boosted when the winner was runner-up in the Rosebery off a 5lb higher rating last weekend. With that in mind, the six-year-old merits plenty of respect off the same mark. Recent Wolverhampton winner My Fermoy has to be noted, while San Andreas and Dark Moon Rising should not be underestimated.
Prediction : 1st Great Bedwyn 2nd Hitched 3rd My Fermoy

TALIS EVOLVERE has filled second place in two of his three starts since winning at Southwell in January and the six-year-old appears to be the safest pick in an open event. That said, the hat-trick seeking Borgi is an obvious danger given his recent exploits, while Exquisite Acclaim edges out The Dragon King and Invited to be the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Talis Evolvere 2nd Borgi 3rd Exquisite Acclaim

Scott Dixon saddles three, all in the same ownership group, of which his two penalised runners Mister Moet and Mighty Vega would appear to hold solid claims. Numero Vingt didn't do himself any favours when pulling too hard at Southwell so it comes as no surprise that connections now reach for headgear. He may well bounce back but even so, ALASRAE might prove better treated. George Boughey's charge dead-heated for second when bidding for a hat-trick at Wolverhampton last time and a solitary 1lb rise might underestimate him.
Prediction : 1st Alasrae 2nd Mister Moet 3rd Mighty Vega

MAO SHANG WONG might have hung badly left in the closing stages at Doncaster on Saturday, but that didn't stop him from completing a quick-fire double. Conor Whiteley keeps the partnership intact and is able to claim his full 7lb allowance, so a 5lb penalty might not be enough to stop the progressive gelding. Wonder arrives in fine fettle and must enter calculations along with the likes of Robusto and Francesi. Damascus Steel isn't without a chance either, and nor is the unexposed Imperial Decision, who will need to negotiate a wide berth.
Prediction : 1st Mao Shang Wong 2nd Wonder 3rd Robusto
