The 2024 Pertemps Final runner-up has slipped to an attractive mark, with amateur Darren Andrews good value for his 7lb claim. Cooler Than Me and Dr Seb are feasible alternatives.

A convincing winner at Musselburgh in February, SATTAM went close again when runner-up at Newcastle. Beaten only a length, despite a mistake at the last, Dianne Sayer's charge finished well clear of the rest and will be hard to keep out of the finish. Belvedere Bhoy has undergone a wind operation since finishing fourth at Ayr and he could prove competitive, while Kicksaftersix reverts to hurdles off a 6lb lower mark and is another to note.
