EXPRESSIONLESS looked worth following when he finished a respectable third over an inadequate 1m2f at Doncaster on the first day of the new Flat season. Back up in trip and off the same mark, there is plenty to like now he has proven his well-being. Sea Of Charm is versatile regarding ground and is another ideally suited by this sort of test, while Johnny Boom and Seraphic are capable of being on the premises at this level.

AL HOFZAN has been running consistently well on the all-weather in recent months and it wouldn't be a huge surprise if the switch to turf brought out further improvement. Invincible Speed backed up a Lingfield success in January with a couple of solid runs in defeat at Kempton and the five-year-old is respected along with Tenbob Tommy, who got off the mark at Lingfield when last seen.

RED MIRAGE returned in fine fettle when third at Doncaster and the eight-year-old, who races off the same mark, has every chance of getting his head back in front. Mission Command ran well at Pontefract on Tuesday and the drop back to 7f doesn't appear likely to be an issue. Tactical Plan looked in need of his Doncaster outing and better is expected here.

ENGROSS got off the mark on his handicap debut at Chelmsford and strikes as the type who could have a lot more to come as a three-year-old this year. Stretching out further in trip can ensure he remains a step ahead of the assessor and he gets the nod ahead of Gaelic Approach, who posted an improved display on his reappearance at Wolverhampton. Emma's Letter is next best.
