CRIMSON ROSE scored readily on the second of her two previous starts and the daughter of Lope De Vega appeals the most. That Newmarket maiden produced a couple of subsequent winners and has a stronger appearance than the class 4 novice event Westport landed on his belated debut last month. Aigeas, who won a maiden at Deauville before being pitched into a Listed event at Saint-Cloud, is the pick of the rest.
Prediction : 1st Crimson Rose 2nd Westport 3rd Aigeas

The previous winners are the ones to focus on. Beagle Bay, a respectable second in a maiden at Newbury on debut, overcame greenness to win in similar company at Chelmsford. The son of New Bay reverts to turf with bags of scope and looks a key player. As does Dumuji, whose Kempton debut win was an encouraging performance. However, I'LL BE BACK hardly came out of first gear when he landed a Doncaster maiden in November and he gets the vote.
Prediction : 1st Ill Be Back 2nd Beagle Bay 3rd Dumuji

EXPRESSIONLESS looked worth following when he finished a respectable third over an inadequate 1m2f at Doncaster on the first day of the new Flat season. Back up in trip and off the same mark, there is plenty to like now he has proven his well-being. Sea Of Charm is versatile regarding ground and is another ideally suited by this sort of test, while Johnny Boom and Seraphic are capable of being on the premises at this level.
Prediction : 1st Expressionless 2nd Sea Of Charm 3rd Johnny Boom

WRECK IT RYLEY won over C&D in October and warmed up for a return to this track when not beaten far at Newcastle last month. The six-year-old doesn't face a particularly strong field here and is expected to get his head back in front. Just Queen High is another expected to step forward from her first run of the year at Doncaster, while Thunderous Love has every chance with conditions to suit.
Prediction : 1st Wreck It Ryley 2nd Just Queen High 3rd Thunderous Love

AL HOFZAN has been running consistently well on the all-weather in recent months and it wouldn't be a huge surprise if the switch to turf brought out further improvement. Invincible Speed backed up a Lingfield success in January with a couple of solid runs in defeat at Kempton and the five-year-old is respected along with Tenbob Tommy, who got off the mark at Lingfield when last seen.
Prediction : 1st Al Hofzan 2nd Invincible Speed 3rd Tenbob Tommy

RED MIRAGE returned in fine fettle when third at Doncaster and the eight-year-old, who races off the same mark, has every chance of getting his head back in front. Mission Command ran well at Pontefract on Tuesday and the drop back to 7f doesn't appear likely to be an issue. Tactical Plan looked in need of his Doncaster outing and better is expected here.
Prediction : 1st Red Mirage 2nd Mission Command 3rd Tactical Plan

ENGROSS got off the mark on his handicap debut at Chelmsford and strikes as the type who could have a lot more to come as a three-year-old this year. Stretching out further in trip can ensure he remains a step ahead of the assessor and he gets the nod ahead of Gaelic Approach, who posted an improved display on his reappearance at Wolverhampton. Emma's Letter is next best.
Prediction : 1st Engross 2nd Gaelic Approach 3rd Emmas Letter

A trappy handicap finale for punters to solve and just a tentative vote is for MONK'S HILL, who is lightly weighted and comes in here on the back of a career-best effort when second at Newcastle. Space Moon performed a lot better than her latest form figure suggests and is one for the shortlist, while Tickettothestars is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Monks Hill 2nd Space Moon 3rd Tickettothestars
