ARCADIAN EMPEROR and Speculateur were separated by just half a length when filling the places behind Kiely's Place over a slightly shorter trip here in February and they look the two to concentrate on. The Willie Mullins-trained gelding previously filled the runner-up spot behind Shuttle Diplomacy at Naas and may again just have the edge over Speculateur, who continued a run of placed efforts at Cork last month. Hi Ho Idaho is also taken seriously.Prediction : 1st Arcadian Emperor 2nd Speculateur 3rd Hi Ho Idaho
17:12 Clonmel
PARADISE LOST was beaten two lengths behind Mojoe (won again since) over 2m3f at Punchestown and may have found 2m a little sharp when placed at Gowran Park last month. Ned In The Park should also appreciate this step up in distance, while Tangara Bay enters calculations on handicap debut after winning a maiden here last time. Thisain'tthat and Former Flame have also shown promise in maiden hurdles and are others to consider.Prediction : 1st Paradise Lost 2nd Ned In The Park 3rd Tangara Bay
17:42 Clonmel
RHYTHMIC TUNE appreciated the step up to 2m5f when winning at Limerick in October and probably found the ground too deep at the same venue over Christmas. He's had a little pipe-opener on the level since and may be able to resume his progression as he goes further up in distance here. This trip holds no fears for Ishan and he has run well in both recent starts after returning from a year off. Point-to-point winner Forceonmyown may be suited by stepping up in trip for her second start in a handicap.Prediction : 1st Rhythmic Tune 2nd Ishan 3rd Forceonmyown
18:12 Clonmel
Worthwhile recent form is at a premium, but a case can be made for OLD KENMARE on his runner-up effort over C&D a year ago. The Frozen Fire gelding should come on from his run here earlier in the month and can go well. No Big Deal produced a consistent spell of form last autumn, including a C&D win, and should be sharper for last month's outing at Cork. A four-time winner on the Flat for Michael Bell, Cock And Bull is another to note. Prediction : 1st Old Kenmare 2nd No Big Deal 3rd Cock And Bull
18:42 Clonmel
GOLDINTHEMOUNTAINS has been lightly raced since winning a bumper at Leopardstown's Christmas meeting in 2023 and comes back from nearly five months off here. When last seen, the Almanzor gelding raced prominently and showed up well for a long way in a hot beginners' chase at Punchestown won by Kitzbuhel. Dropping back in trip should suit and he might take a bit of pegging back. Useful hurdler Royal Hollow is a free-going type and returns from a layoff to make her chasing debut, while Son Of Anarchy has won a point-to-point and probably wants a stiffer test of stamina.Prediction : 1st Goldinthemountains 2nd Royal Hollow 3rd Son Of Anarchy
19:12 Clonmel
LITTLEFOOT scored on his chase debut and is a capable type. Although the selection has finished runner-up six times, one of those was when finishing second in a Red Mills series final at last year's Punchestown Festival. Great Universe finished third in the recent Downpatrick race which Littlefoot won and, on these terms, he should get closer. Coral River finished third in the aforementioned Punchestown hurdle race and also makes some appeal.Prediction : 1st Littlefoot 2nd Great Universe 3rd Coral River
19:42 Clonmel
LUCIOLE DES BORDES has run consistently in three runs so far and received a form boost at Aintree. Having shown ability on debut, the selection bumped into a useful type at Punchestown in December and, at Gowran in February, she finished second to Thursday's Grade 2 winner Nan's Choice. Gortnaclea Castle finished ahead of Thelittleballerina in a Down Royal bumper last month, while Tutu Twist showed promise over hurdles at Naas. Prediction : 1st Luciole Des Bordes 2nd Gortnaclea Castle 3rd Thelittleballerina
