CITY OF DREAMS has been competitive on both starts in handicap company and the switch to turf combined with Harry Vigors taking 7lb off gives him an ideal opportunity to gain his first career success. Liquid Cooled won at Newcastle on his first run after a break before running with credit for fourth at Pontefract. He has to be a threat if settling better, while Alice's Influence could benefit from a first-time visor.
Prediction : 1st City Of Dreams 2nd Liquid Cooled 3rd Alices Influence

PRINCLING showed plenty of ability on both starts as a juvenile and the son of Kingman is expected to be a warm order. The form of his Newmarket second was boosted by the winner following up at Southwell on Thursday and the step up to a mile promises to bring about improvement. Ervani comes from an excellent Aga Khan family and has to command the utmost respect on debut. Unchartedterritory heads the remainder based on his fourth at Ayr in September.
Prediction : 1st Princling 2nd Ervani 3rd Unchartedterritory

Successful on debut at Sandown before finishing runner-up in a German Group 3, SEA THE STORM is taken to defy a 7lb penalty having switched to William Haggas' yard. Her pedigree suggests the extra couple of furlongs will see her in a better light and a sounder surface shouldn't be an inconvenience. Stable companion Pierian is out of an Irish Oaks winner and is respected along with Nowshesdancing, a winner at Dundalk in January.
Prediction : 1st Sea The Storm 2nd Pierian 3rd Nowshesdancing

Passing Thought was tried in Listed company on her final juvenile start and found that a bridge too far. Now handicapping off a mark of 80, this looks a much more realistic opportunity, but HASBRO MARKET gets the vote. David O'Meara's charge backed up his Thirsk success when runner-up at Ayr, giving away weight to the opposition, and more is expected after a gelding operation. Sanaam and Back To Me are others with strong credentials making their handicap debuts.
Prediction : 1st Hasbro Market 2nd Passing Thought 3rd Sanaam

Art Gallery has progressed nicely with experience and after ending her first campaign with a breakthrough Newcastle triumph, she picked up where she left off on her handicap debut at Kempton. She has yet to prove herself on turf, whereas SECRET HISTORY made the frame in good juvenile maidens at Newbury and York prior to her successful return at Chelmsford. She looks nicely treated. Rosa Inglesa could be too because she acquitted herself quite well in a valuable sales race at Newmarket.
Prediction : 1st Secret History 2nd Art Gallery 3rd Rosa Inglesa

HARSWELL RUBY showed her appreciation for the return to turf when justifying favouritism at Thirsk. The third has come out since and run well so a 3lb rise for Roger Fell's filly may be lenient. A wind operation has improved American State, who has won two out of his last three starts, and he remains unexposed on grass. Sea Suite is well treated on this surface, while Dovey Moon paid his way last year and is a contender if ready to roll.
Prediction : 1st Harswell Ruby 2nd American State 3rd Sea Suite

True Promise has been running well in defeat on the all-weather, for all that he has become costly to follow. His turf record isn't great, though, so perhaps a chance can be taken on SHAVKAT. Successful on debut before a third at Doncaster when with Roger Varian, the son of Showcasing blew the cobwebs away for his new stable at Lingfield last month and is expected to step forward. King's Crown is back down to his last winning mark so is worth a look.
Prediction : 1st Shavkat 2nd True Promise 3rd Kings Crown
