Shebara disappointed when sent off favourite at Chelmsford. She's better than that and can't be easily ruled out, while Doodling returned to the fray with a solid second at Kempton and also enters calculations. However, William Haggas sent out a newcomer to win this contest last year and a chance is taken on ADALO. The son of Isfahan is a half-brother to five winners and may well prove good enough at the first time of asking.Prediction : 1st Adalo 2nd Shebara 3rd Doodling

FITZELLA landed a Group 3 sprint at Ascot last summer and should benefit from dropping back to 6f after her comeback run in the Nell Gwyn. She has strong claims in this lesser company. Zooming posted a decent effort when fifth in the Fred Darling at Newbury and may well improve past Argentine Tango. The latter won a Listed contest on fast ground last season, while Hassaleh may well prove up to this level, given she won a Newmarket maiden in impressive fashion on her reappearance.Prediction : 1st Fitzella 2nd Zooming 3rd Argentine Tango

BLUE BOLT returns to Listed level for the first time since winning at Sandown last July. Andrew Balding's filly ended the season with an excellent second in the Group 1 Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket and an entry in the Lockinge later this month suggests big things are expected this season. Unlucky in the French 1000 Guineas, Shes Perfect competed at the highest level last term. She returns from a lengthy absence, as does the promising Listed winner Kon Tiki, while Arisaig could also shape well. Prediction : 1st Blue Bolt 2nd Shes Perfect 3rd Kon Tiki

The Moore stable won this in 2023 with Mark Of Gold and have a serious chance once again, this time with AGGAGIO. Three times a C&D winner, with one of those off a 2lb higher mark, he clearly runs well here and although now an eight-year-old, there may be another win in him. St Mawes is an improving four-year-old and commands plenty of respect in his bid for a hat-trick of victories, leaving Novelista for the minor placing. Prediction : 1st Aggagio 2nd St Mawes 3rd Novelista
15:20 Goodwood
Faustus deserves a second glance if only because he gets to pop out of the one stall, which is historically a good draw here with the 2025 winner also coming from the lowest box. Sadly his form still leaves him plenty to find and TIGER TULIP may have his measure. Second at Newmarket on her last start in late October, she runs off the same mark here and is taking a drop in class. Rory Rocket would go close but is less consistent.Prediction : 1st Tiger Tulip 2nd Faustus 3rd Rory Rocket
16:00 Goodwood
With the James Fanshawe horses running well and in among the winners there is every chance that LOVE BEACH can follow up his four length Nottingham success with another win here, despite an added 8lb from the handicapper. Sent clear at the furlong pole that day he was impressive enough to suggest he can get the better of Newmarket winner Yabher and perhaps Urban Glimpse, who sits at the bottom of the weights for Andrew Balding. Prediction : 1st Love Beach 2nd Yabher 3rd Urban Glimpse
16:30 Goodwood
Dumuji is entitled to build on his fifth-placed return at Leicester last month and he shouldn't be underestimated on his handicap bow. However, there are more attractive propositions on display, with LAW COURT topping the bill. Richard Hannon's colt did little wrong when finishing a close-up second at Wolverhampton recently and an opening mark of 79 looks reasonable. Mohaaraj and Berkshire Boom are others open to improvement that could have a say in the finish.Prediction : 1st Law Court 2nd Mohaaraj 3rd Dumuji
17:05 Goodwood
Having supplemented a promising third-placed return at Lingfield with a victory at Newmarket last month, STARTLED rates as one to keep the right side of. A 2lb nudge up in the ratings for Richard Hughes' gelding may prove lenient and he's fancied to follow up. Jeddaal justified favouritism in a maiden at Catterick 24 days ago and the Lope De Vega gelding merits respect reverting to handicap company, albeit off a higher mark. Deluded is the pick of the remainder.Prediction : 1st Startled 2nd Jeddaal 3rd Deluded
