Sinmara - 0.5pt E/W

Joseph O’Brien has a good record in this race winning it three years in a row between 2022 and 2024 and he can hopefully win it again with SINMARA (best priced at 5/1) this year. The three-year-old made an encouraging debut when 3rd last season at this track but looked a different proposition on her reappearance when she won in impressive style by 6 lengths at Gowran Park over this trip of a mile.

Being by Kingman, Sinmara should relish this switch to faster ground as she has only run on soft ground on her two starts to date. The runner-up from last time Rayzara finished runner-up on her next start to give substance to the from and she looks sure to run well for the returning Dylan Browne McMonagle who rode a double at Cork yesterday for the trainer.

Hundred Caps - 1pt Win

This looks a competitive 0-85 handicap but preference goes to HUNDRED CAPS (best priced at 4/1) who has the plum draw in Stall 1 and is also fitted with a first-time visor in this contest. The Julie Camacho trained four-year-old has form figures of 121 at this track and although both victories have come off a mark of 69 in comparison to his current rating of 80, he clearly thrives at this venue.

Copper Knight is drawn alongside him in Stall 2 who should give him a perfect lead into the race and he should appreciate the drop back in trip to 5f having been running over 6f on his previous four starts. His recent AW form has been very good hence why he arrives off a career high mark and this race should suit him well.
