THEFLYINGKING has strong form and should be hard to beat on his return from an absence. The point-to-point and bumper winner was in front when falling at the last here on hurdling debut, and then chased home a subsequent Grade 1 winner at Navan in November. The son of Jukebox Jury has a good record when fresh and can get the better of Ehteyat, who has less on his plate than when contesting a handicap at Aintree last month. O'Reilly is also noted.
Prediction : 1st Theflyingking 2nd Ehteyat 3rd OReilly

Better ground could bring about an improved performance from many of these, and POWERFUL ROSIE could be the one. A half-sister to an all-weather winner, Liz Doyle's filly was a creditable sixth on soft ground when making her handicap hurdle debut at Clonmel and can take a step forward. Justicialism hasn't won for a long time, but bounced back to form when runner-up here and is noted along with Gforcejenny.
Prediction : 1st Powerful Rosie 2nd Justicialism 3rd Gforcejenny

Gordon Elliott has a strong hand in this and TIMELESS TREATY appeals most. One of his three hurdle wins was on good ground on this card a year ago, and the Harzand gelding comes here on the back of a creditable run in a competitive handicap at Fairyhouse. Stablemate He Can't Dance was rewarded for his consistency when easily winning a maiden at Limerick and he might be capable of further improvement. Kevin's Pride also comes into calculations.
Prediction : 1st Timeless Treaty 2nd He Cant Dance 3rd Kevins Pride

STAFFORDSHIRE KNOT enjoyed a fine spell of form in staying hurdles over the winter, winning three times including the Grade 2 Boyne Hurdle at Navan in February. He was tried over fences a couple of years ago and chased home Impaire Et Passe at Fairyhouse on the first of two starts over the larger obstacles. Despite a slight concern about the lively ground, he gets the vote. Stablemate Scalpnagoon was third to a subsequent Punchestown Festival handicap winner at Cork and will enjoy this longer trip. Impero has a good strike-rate over hurdles and is an interesting chasing debutant, as is the third Elliott runner Cinnamon Roll.
Prediction : 1st Staffordshire Knot 2nd Scalpnagoon 3rd Impero

Dermot McLoughlin's stable is back in form and DIGBY can leave behind some moderate recent efforts. He's a capable stayer on his day and was second in a valuable handicap over this trip at Uttoxeter last summer. Good ground is crucial for the 11-year-old who will have conditions to suit here. Long-standing maiden Attaboyarchie has shown more of late and was second over C&D last month. Usually partnered by his owner, he has a professional rider on board on this occasion. Ad Caelum is a hurdles winner over this trip on good ground and can improve on her recent chase form, which has been on softer terrain.
Prediction : 1st Digby 2nd Attaboyarchie 3rd Ad Caelum

The three-time point winner is a brother to useful jumper Fortunedefortunata and was an easy winner of his most recent outing at Loughanmore a month ago. Catalani has also won three times between the flags and chased home a promising type in a hunter chase at Tramore last month. Yewtree Hill had some respectable form in handicaps last summer and will enjoy getting back on good ground, while Focus Point has a wealth of experience and was runner-up over an extended 2m4f here in March.
Prediction : 1st Fortune Lad 2nd Catalani 3rd Yewtree Hill

On what should be a good afternoon for Gordon Elliott, he can strike in the finale with TODO BIEN. The son of Walk In The Park made 175,000 euros at last year's Derby Sale and was sent off favourite at Naas in February. Third of five on testing ground then, connections may feel he wants a quicker surface and the first two home that day were first and third in a Listed contest next time. Stuart Crawford's bumper runners always merit respect at his local track, and Eillis is a half-sister to a horse who won a quick-ground Haydock bumper on his debut last year. Born To Caledonie attracted market support when showing ability at Leopardstown.
Prediction : 1st Todo Bien 2nd Eillis 3rd Born To Caledonie
