Tip 1: Ashen - 1pt

Best odds of 7/4 available at bet365 while publishibng.

Many of the runners are struggling for recent form but that isn’t the case for ASHEN (best priced at 7/4) who ran well to finish 3rd at Musselburgh 9 days ago. The Jimy Goldie trained four-year-old started off in handicaps with an opening rating of 74 when trained by Marcus Tregoning and had dropped down to a career low mark of 63 prior to that good run last time.

Given a lot to do by Lauren Young that day, Ashen made eyecatching headway late on to finish 3rd beaten 3 ½ lengths in total on a day when it paid to be prominent at the track. That Class 4 0-80 handicap was worth 15k to the winner but he now drops into this Class 6 0-65 handicap and also gets the assistance of Paul Mulrennan. He should be able to record a first victory of his career.

Tip 2: Kento - 1pt

Best odds available of 4/1 at Wiliam Hill while publishing.

This looks a competitive 0-55 handicap but preference goes to KENTO (best priced at 7/2) who has been running consistently well in 2026 with form figures of 221313. The Tony Carroll trained five-year-old has won twice this year already over this course and distance off marks of 46 and 50 under Rossa Ryan before finishing 3rd off this mark last time when drawn wide in Stall 7.

Kento is drawn much better in Stall 4 this time and he can hopefully confirm form with Colors Of Freedom who finished behind the selection twice in March.
