Uncle Remus ended last year's campaign with a respectable third on his handicap bow at Uttoxeter and it's unlikely that we've seen the best of him yet. The five-year-old warrants a market check on his return to action, but KATES CHOICE is slightly more appealing. Nikki Evans' mare found only a handicap blot too strong at Exeter and a 2lb ease in the ratings can only help. Handicap hurdle debutant Berkshire Smudge and Walk In The West are others of interest.
Prediction : 1st Kates Choice 2nd Uncle Remus 3rd Berkshire Smudge

Having built on his third-placed Rules bow at Chepstow when filling the runner-up berth over C&D a fortnight ago, FAIRYE FORTH could be poised to strike. The seven-year-old ticks plenty of the right boxes and his hurdling experience could prove decisive against dual bumper winner Getaway Vic. Although the seven-year-old is making his timber debut on the back of a 390-day layoff, he isn't taken lightly. Idaho Fire may fare best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Fairye Forth 2nd Getaway Vic 3rd Idaho Fire

Mickey Bowen's string have started to find their form and Star Turn must enter calculations after his runner-up effort over C&D last month. A 1lb rise is unlikely to prevent another bold bid, but it could be worth taking a chance on COLBY MAYFIELD. He appeared to pay the price for going with an easy winner at Chepstow 40 days ago and looks more than capable of scoring. Hillwalk completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Colby Mayfield 2nd Star Turn 3rd Hillwalk

HELL HOUND relished the return to a sounder surface when justifying favouritism at Southwell last month and there should be more to come. That was just his second outing over fences and a 6lb higher mark shouldn't halt his progress. The Boola Boss was well found in the market when scoring at Chepstow and he's feared most, ahead of fellow last-time-out winner Copshill Lad.
Prediction : 1st Hell Hound 2nd The Boola Boss 3rd Copshill Lad

Having secured a breakthrough victory over C&D recently, Lion Of The Desert merits respect. Although a 3lb higher mark for Grace Harris' charge looks workable and he may confirm his superiority over Mancero, there is a sneaking suspicion that JUKEBOX JOKER could be better treated. The six-year-old was unfortunate to bump into a subsequent winner at Sedgefield in early February and his subsequent no-show at Ludlow was too bad to be true.
Prediction : 1st Jukebox Joker 2nd Lion Of The Desert 3rd Mancero

L'empire Vert appreciated the step back up in trip when scoring here last month and this extra yardage may suit. That being said, the six-year-old is effectively 9lb higher without Callum Pritchard's 3lb claim and it could pay to side with the returning RADHARC NA SLAINE. Champion jockey Sean Bowen gave Dai Rees' inmate a fine ride when scoring at Stratford last September and he may be able to regain the winning thread. Loki's Mischief is next best.
Prediction : 1st Radharc Na Slaine 2nd Lempire Vert 3rd Lokis Mischief
