Briery Butterfly was looking held when falling two out in that race. However, she was a well-backed favourite and better was obviously expected. This is no tougher and she could bounce back. Edna E Mode and Churchman complete the shortlist.

However, the 11-year-old showed plenty of zest on that occasion and a repeat dose can see him on the premises off just 3lb higher. However, the well-handicapped HALL LANE could have a bigger say on these terms. Set to run off 10lb below his last winning mark over fences, this could be a good time to catch the Fergal O'Brien-trained gelding. Law Of Supply and Nazare are the pick of the rest.

Of the remainder, Soleil D'arizona makes the most appeal for the in-form Dan Skelton team.

Jafimgoso showed little when only seventh at Huntingdon, but his mark continues to drop and the bumper winner has Harry Skelton back on board.
