BEERWAH built on his promising second at Doncaster to score by just over a length at Redcar less than a week later and is just 5lb higher. The son of Mehmas has lots in his favour and looks well placed to complete a double. Kyber Crystal outran odds of 33/1 when third behind the selection and may get closer, although Until Dawn might prove to be the main threat after her third over C&D.
Prediction : 1st Beerwah 2nd Until Dawn 3rd Kyber Crystal

Ricky Punting was unable to break his duck when fourth on his introduction at Bath, but that was still a creditable effort and he could take a step forward. Even so, HARLEY looks the way to go. Ed Bethell's youngster changed hands for 22,000 pounds as a yearling and is a half-brother to Bomb Proof, who won on his sole juvenile start. Any market confidence behind fellow newcomer Waasil for the Karl Burke team would be interesting.
Prediction : 1st Harley 2nd Ricky Punting 3rd Waasil

Harriet Quimby has progressed with each of her three starts, most recently getting off the mark over 1m2f at Yarmouth, and an opening figure of 80 might not be beyond her. My Ballyquinn takes a step up in trip on his handicap bow and is noted, but it's GAELIC APPROACH who makes the most appeal. Charlie Johnston's gelding made his second appearance in handicap company a winning one at Leicester and he could follow up.
Prediction : 1st Gaelic Approach 2nd Harriet Quimby 3rd My Ballyquinn

Elsass is a dual winner on the all-weather and attempts to break his duck on turf from 4lb higher than when scoring at Southwell last time. Humble Spark finished an encouraging second here recently and could be in the mix, but a chance is taken on the returning TIERNAN. The four-year-old showed plenty of ability last term, notably when a close third in a Listed race over C&D, and Iain Jardine's charge gets a speculative vote following wind surgery.
Prediction : 1st Tiernan 2nd Elsass 3rd Humble Spark

QUIET RESOLVE finally opened his account on turf when scoring here on his first start for a new yard. That was also his seasonal debut so it's reasonable to expect another bold bid, especially as Rhys Elliott's allowance negates a 5lb penalty. Draupnir placed over 7f at Thirsk and looks worth another try over this far. He could feature if a first-time hood has the desired effect, while Obito is worth a second look on his reappearance.
Prediction : 1st Quiet Resolve 2nd Draupnir 3rd Obito

Having got off the mark over a mile at Southwell in March, WELBURY was not disgraced when second on his handicap bow at Doncaster three weeks ago. A 2lb rise for that effort is not ideal, but the son of Ardad is likely to improve with first-time cheekpieces added. Picture Palace's novice/maiden form suggests that he has to be noted now switched to handicaps. Saxophonist completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Welbury 2nd Picture Palace 3rd Saxophonist

PERFIDIA has made the frame off this mark on both starts this season and the son of Dandy Man has been found an ideal opportunity to earn his second victory. That said, Nakatomi is an obvious threat to the selection having been beaten just a length into third at Beverley earlier in the month. Others to consider are Hashtagnotions, Uncle Liam and Penny Mountain.
Prediction : 1st Perfidia 2nd Nakatomi 3rd Hashtagnotions
