An odds on shot heads the market who was an easy winner last time out but this will be the first run on turf for Bronte Beach and he has a 10lbs rise to contend with.
I’m going to take him on with the Iain Jardine runner, ELEMENTAL EYE (7/2) who is a winner both at this course when scoring over the 1m6f trip and over 2m at Redcar and both of those wins came off marks of 65. He drops in class today but remains 5lbs above his last winning mark but that is alleviated by a 7lbs claim in the saddle which in theory puts him on a mark that can see him competitive in this.
