Ariane Sky caught the eye running on when the race was all over at Bath and will relish the extra yardage, but she comes up against some interesting newcomers. GREEN TITAN is a half-brother to Tropical Island, who was successful in Listed company. His dam won three times over 5f as a juvenile so he might have more speed than Issy's Gift, an Ardad half-brother to plenty of winners including the smart Galeron. Benefacta is also worth a look.
Prediction : 1st Green Titan 2nd Issys Gift 3rd Ariane Sky

EM FOUR appears to thrive on his racing and, following a successful spring, he returned to turf to perform well for third at Salisbury. That form has been boosted by a subsequent victory for the runner-up and, if he can get to the lead, Jamie Osborne's speedster will take some catching. El Bufalo is more at home on an artificial surface, although he went into a few notebooks after his Ascot sixth so must be feared. Marching Mac will relish the return to grass.
Prediction : 1st Em Four 2nd El Bufalo 3rd Marching Mac

BOSTON MAX is Gordon Elliott's first Flat runner at Chepstow and the hint must be taken. After showing precious little in maiden company as a juvenile, the son of Bungle Inthejungle showed the benefit of a gelding operation when returning to make a successful handicap debut at Dundalk. He is 7lb higher, but should have plenty more to offer. Stock Market is edging closer to a breakthrough triumph, although the return to the minimum trip might not be ideal so Forever Glamorous, who was nailed close home over 6f at Windsor, could be the bigger danger.
Prediction : 1st Boston Max 2nd Forever Glamorous 3rd Stock Market

19:10 Chepstow

Romanovich returned to turf with a placed effort at Bath and is likely to be competitive off 1lb lower, while course winner Spirit Of The Bay commands respect on her first run since October. That said, OPENING BAT gets the vote. Harry Charlton's gelding was mostly consistent during 2025 and the booking of Billy Loughnane, who won on the son of Bated Breath at Kempton 12 months ago, has to be seen as a positive.
Prediction : 1st Opening Bat 2nd Romanovich 3rd Spirit Of The Bay

DANCING WITH DRUMS has improved plenty since beginning life in handicap company, with the drop to 6f appearing to be the key to him. Adam Kirby's gelding bounced back from trying 7f at Southwell when scoring at Kempton earlier in the month and the switch to turf doesn't appear likely to be a concern. Dragon God's recent efforts warrant him a place on the shortlist along with Punchbowl Flyer.
Prediction : 1st Dancing With Drums 2nd Dragon God 3rd Punchbowl Flyer

20:10 Chepstow

WINDBREAKER has shown promise on both starts and stepped forward from his Kempton debut when placed at Chelmsford behind subsequent Blue Riband Trial winner Saxon Street. Stepping up in trip is likely to bring about improvement from William Haggas' colt and he can get off the mark before moving into handicap company. Leonato finished third at Lingfield and that form gives him a strong chance, while any market support for newcomer Hapiness should be noted.
Prediction : 1st Windbreaker 2nd Leonato 3rd Hapiness

Despite returning from 11 months off the track, there appears to be plenty of positives for RIVER KING. Richard Hannon's charge got off the mark when tackling 1m2f for the first time at Windsor after a string of consistent efforts. Gelded since, he can take advantage of a mark of 84 on his handicap bow. Crystal Mariner was progressive towards the end of last season, winning a brace of Kempton handicaps, and the return to turf isn't a negative. Alcaraz heads the remainder.
Prediction : 1st River King 2nd Crystal Mariner 3rd Alcaraz
