SUN GODDESS was a fast finisher over 5f on her debut at Naas and can put that experience to good use. The Sioux Nation filly powered home to dead-heat for a close second and would have been up in another couple of strides. That promising effort came against colts and the extra furlong looks sure to suit. Lan De Ghaire has been beaten no more than a length on both starts and is likely to go well. All five newcomers, including 950,000gns yearling Snowing, hold entries in a Group 2 over C&D next month, so this has the makings of a hot contest.
Prediction : 1st Sun Goddess 2nd Snowing 3rd Lan De Ghaire

The form of the C&D maiden won by GREAT BARRIER REEF hasn't been enhanced by those who finished behind him, but the No Nay Never colt was visually impressive as he scooted clear to post a six-length victory. Races like the Coventry and Dewhurst were mentioned in the aftermath, and it will be a surprise if he's not better suited by the likely quicker ground on this occasion. Edward Thatch won easily over 5f at Cork and is another who will likely be encountering a sounder surface. Otherworldly had a luckless passage when second to Immortal Guard over C&D and could reverse the form.
Prediction : 1st Great Barrier Reef 2nd Edward Thatch 3rd Otherworldly

PREVALENCE and Green Carrera finished upsides when placed over 7f here earlier in the month and the former can come out on top in the rematch. A maiden winner on the all-weather in November, Ger Lyons' runner did plenty wrong last time, losing ground at the start and difficult to settle, but came home well enough to suggest that stepping up in trip will suit. Green Carrera is already proven over this trip and is respected along with Mayflower, who has performed creditably in a pair of Group 3 races this term.
Prediction : 1st Prevalence 2nd Green Carrera 3rd Mayflower

Fifth in last year's Irish 1,000 Guineas over C&D, the lightly-raced CITY OF MEMPHIS has won both starts this season and can continue her progression. The Sioux Nation filly won a Group 3 over 7f at Leopardstown earlier in the month and stepping back up to a mile shouldn't be an issue. Jancis was a revelation when landing a Group 2 over 1m1f at Newmarket and she's expected to have her say. A stablemate of the selection, One Look was a first-time-out winner last term and should also be considered.
Prediction : 1st City Of Memphis 2nd Jancis 3rd One Look

MINNIE HAUK enjoyed a tremendous campaign last season completing the Oaks/Irish Oaks double and adding a further Group 1 victory at York for good measure. The Frankel filly lost nothing in defeat when beaten a head by Daryz in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and warmed up for this test with a comfortable win in a Group 2 here earlier this month. Almaqam also showed smart form last year finishing off the season with a fine third behind Calandagan in the Champion Stakes at Ascot, while Bay City Roller was a wide-margin winner of a Group 1 on soft ground in Germany. Saddadd should also be considered for the places.
Prediction : 1st Minnie Hauk 2nd Almaqam 3rd Saddadd

TRUE LOVE was a speedy juvenile winning the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot and the Group 1 Cheveley Park at Newmarket, before dispelling any worries about her staying a mile last time when finishing strongly to land the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket. The daughter of No Nay Never holds both Abashiri and Precise on that form but the latter, who was the champion two-year-old filly, had an interrupted preparation this spring and may now get a lot closer. Magny Cours and Pivotal Attack filled the places behind the selection at Leopardstown last month, while America Queen and Black Caviar Gold are the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st True Love 2nd Precise 3rd Black Caviar Gold

SUMMER ISLAND made a successful start for Natalia Lupini over this trip at Dundalk in February and is improving at a rate of knots judged by his latest outing here over 7f when quickening clear inside the final furlong, with Java Wood back in fifth. Highbury See See won over C&D last autumn and again shaped well here last month, but is probably best suited by softer ground. Spanish Temptress also comes here in good form, but is another who would appreciate an ease. Others to consider include Greek Flower and Thaloria.
Prediction : 1st Summer Island 2nd Highbury See See 3rd Greek Flower

Willie Mullins is a good starting point when trying to solve a staying Flat handicap and he relies on two interesting contenders in STORM HEART and Highwind. The former hasn't run on the Flat since easily winning a maiden in France over three years ago but has proved a smart sort over hurdles, winning the Grade 3 Red Mills Trial Hurdle at Gowran. Highwind was fourth behind Alba Chiara in the Ulster Cesarewitch at Down Royal last September and now meets that rival on considerably better terms. Kilmeaden and Kingstonian filled the minor placings behind Saratoga over a similar trip at Listowel last autumn, and Kingstonian ran a cracker when reappearing in the Chester Plate earlier this month.
Prediction : 1st Storm Heart 2nd Kingstonian 3rd Highwind
