The selection was patently in need of the run on her reappearance at Sandown last month but that recent spin can give her the edge today. Bintknight and Scarlet Letter both need to improve on their debut efforts, so any support for the newcomer Green Area would have to be taken seriously.

TICKETTOTHESTARS broke the maiden tag at Nottingham on her penultimate start. Dropping to the minimum trip didn't appear to suit last time, but she can bounce back returned to 6f. In Denial finished third in behind the Rod Millman-trained filly last time but can get closer on these revised terms. Support in the betting for the likes of Wadirumm and Saeculamation would make them notable each-way options.

Weffaag sports a first-time tongue-tie having failed to land the odds at Thirsk and might do better, but the vote goes to STORMING POINT. Beaten only a short-head by the now 106-rated Needle Match on his debut at Newbury last season, he will be tough to beat if returning at his best. The consistent Ascending Star can follow them home.

Most of these have something to prove, but that can't be said for HILLTOP. The daughter of New Bay won comfortably at Newcastle in March and can go in again from 3lb higher, with the return to the grass unlikely to hinder her chance. Eazy On The Eye enters calculations dropped in class, while Daisy Roots likes it here and shouldn't be underestimated, despite being 3lb above her last winning mark.

LOHOOBB was sent off as the favourite on his seasonal return/handicap bow at Newmarket, but could only manage fifth. However, Owen Burrows' colt ran keenly on that occasion and can do better with the run under his belt. Luminare may prove popular after finishing second over a mile on the all-weather here last time out, while Torbados, who tries first-time blinkers, was tailed off when reintroduced at Doncaster in April. However, his position in the market that day suggests he shouldn't be written off yet.
