The Bailey/Nicholls horses are running well and Court In A Storm has to be of interest on his chasing debut, although Dan Skelton's Sunray Shadow may yet prove the bigger danger to the suggestion.

King's Scholar won on his second start over hurdles when staying on strongly at Southwell and is an obvious contender, but he is only rated 7lb superior to ARBITRATION on the Flat and has to give that rival 13lb. Second on his hurdling bow at Newton Abbot, Joe Tizzard's four-year-old pulled too hard but could be a different proposition now. So Proud won a bumper at Haydock on debut and looks the sort to do better as he gains experience over hurdles.

Unexposed as a stayer, SON OF TYRAN appeals most after a convincing win over 3m at Ludlow. That was a solid platform for the Dan Skelton-trained five-year-old to build from, with a 5lb rise noted as workable now he has proven that a test of stamina suits. Saint Vic merits close inspection after a second at Uttoxeter, while Mexican Stan's Warwick success reads well and he is another must for consideration.

FIDENDUM's completed starts have been progressive and he is hard to see beyond after re-establishing his reputation with a comfortable success at Market Rasen. That commanding performance made up for him running out on his previous outing and he steps into handicap company on an upwards trajectory. Charging Thunder has proven to be effective over hurdles and the booking of Sean Bowen guarantees his place on the shortlist. Siam Park and Scintillante could also be thereabouts.
