Ghaiyya has posted two fine efforts so far this year, most recently filling the runner-up spot at Hamilton, and she has to be taken seriously. Topteam bounced back to form when only beaten a length into second at Newmarket and is noted, but OPPORTUNITY might be the one. William Haggas' charge was gelded over the winter and returned with a creditable third at Ascot. This represents just his second start in handicap company and he is likely to have more to offer.Prediction : 1st Opportunity 2nd Ghaiyya 3rd Topteam

Native Honey returned to winning ways over 7f at Ayr 10 days ago and remains of interest, despite this drop back in distance. Wild Clary was just touched off at Ripon last month and is bound to mount a bold bid, but the vote goes to REALIGN. The son of Blue Point finished a disappointing ninth at Newmarket on his return, but he now takes a drop in grade and the application of first-time cheekpieces might see him in a different light.Prediction : 1st Realign 2nd Native Honey 3rd Wild Clary
14:33 Carlisle
STARLUST, the 2024 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint hero, makes his return and is tough to oppose in this company. Ralph Beckett's speedster finished a highly creditable fourth in the King Charles III at Royal Ascot last summer and should prove a cut above these. Azure Angel sprung a 22/1 surprise when victorious at Bath and she isn't one to take lightly, while Windsor handicap winner Redorange is another to watch.Prediction : 1st Starlust 2nd Azure Angel 3rd Redorange

ESTRANGE is a mare of the highest order and ran right away from her rivals when this was staged at its usual home of Haydock 12 months ago. She went on to claim Lancashire Oaks glory before occupying the runner-up berth in a couple of Group 1 events and really does look a class apart. Her fondness for cut in the ground is well documented so if conditions really are too quick, Owen Burrows will be waiting to pounce with Waardah and Azaniya. Sharpen is worth a look on her first appearance for George Boughey.Prediction : 1st Estrange 2nd Waardah 3rd Azaniya
15:45 Carlisle
This race often involves Group horses masquerading as handicappers and the one with the obvious potential this year is Princling, who built on his two seconds as a juvenile when justifying skinny odds on his Wetherby return. Fellow handicap debutant Langstone has won twice this year, and Laureate Crown is also on a hat-trick after supplementing a Wolverhampton triumph at Sandown. CREST OF FIRE was only two lengths behind him in fourth on considerably worse terms at Ascot last summer, though, and having boosted his confidence with a bloodless Southwell success, he can improve past his rival to land the spoils.Prediction : 1st Crest of Fire 2nd Princling 3rd Langstone
16:20 Carlisle
ALBAYDAA was just ahead of a subsequent Listed winner when third on her handicap debut and then went one place better behind a potential Group horse at Ascot. William Haggas' filly remains on a nice mark and is unlikely to bump into anything as good here, although if there is a dark horse in opposition it's Distant Shore, who shared the spoils on her only juvenile outing and lost nothing in defeat when giving 7lb to a couple of nice fillies at Thirsk. Lady Kodiac had Orchid four lengths adrift when runner-up at Newmarket and also enters the equation.Prediction : 1st Albaydaa 2nd Distant Shore 3rd Lady Kodiac
16:55 Carlisle
WILD THOUGHTS has won four times and risen a total of 28lb since making his handicap debut last month and Richard Spencer's bay might not be done yet. The manner in which he won at Windsor most recently suggests a further 7lb rise could still be manageable and who knows where his ceiling lies. There are a number who could spoil the party, though, including Newmarket winner St Anton and hat-trick seeker Secret History, while Factual makes some appeal now stepping up to a mile.Prediction : 1st Wild Thoughts 2nd St Anton 3rd Secret History
17:28 Carlisle
Freddie Steady Go won a bumper at Newcastle in April last year so it was quite the shock when he was able to score at odds of 150/1 over 7f here recently. Stepping up a furlong in trip should be no bad thing, but it remains to be seen whether an opening mark of 81 is lenient and AYR POET might be the safer option. Jim Goldie's veteran took a big step forward from his seasonal return when beaten a head at Ayr and this could be the time to catch him. Priapos is also noted.Prediction : 1st Ayr Poet 2nd Freddie Steady Go 3rd Priapos
