Gomez Addams has to be considered after winning a bumper at Galway for Andrew Slattery before disappointing for his new trainer at Leopardstown, although on pedigree he might be better over further in time. Bells Grove may have his measure having placed in a Cheltenham bumper last October, but he also disappointed on his first start after changing yards and the vote goes to SMALL FRY. Joseph O'Brien's five-year-old won four races on the Flat and wasn't beaten too far when fourth over hurdles at Down Royal, and this may be his best opportunity yet.

Speed For Fun was sold for 40,000 euros last July and moved to Willie Mullins, although his Flat form only includes one Compiegne win from nine starts and he will need to take to hurdles to have a chance. Burning Ability placed in two bumpers before finishing second over timber at Limerick. He was then a disappointing sixth in another bumper at the same track, but could still be the biggest rival to JACK OWEN JACK. Second and third in his two bumpers, it will be interesting to see how he takes to the step up in trip and his first look at obstacles.

ILLTAKEHIMMYSELF just missed out over 3m at Punchestown on his first start since December. The unexposed five-year-old is entitled to improve for that reappearance run and this shorter trip could also prove in his favour. Jay Pee M has won off a higher mark over fences and ran well for a long way when sent off favourite over timber at Cork last time. He could be on the premises, while Jaadil is no forlorn hope if back on song.

Chanceawetmorning did just enough to win at Clonmel last time when landing a double. He'll need further improvement raised 7lb, while Falco Blitz may have been fortunate to finish third at Killarney because ELUSIVE OGIE unseated at the second-last. The latter was travelling well in second at the time and Eoin McCarthy's charge looks worthy of another chance on that showing. Big Dispute and Rockonliam could prove the pick of the remainder.

ONLY FOR OUR MAN arrives in fine fettle. He won nicely at Down Royal in April and went close to defying a 7lb rise when picked off late at Cork last time. Paul Nolan's progressive charge looks worth keeping on side and is taken to edge out Somersby Roost, who returned the easy winner at Cork and steps up in trip with solid claims. Clonmel winner Silent Guardian could make the frame if coping with the faster ground.

Both runnings of this race have been won by the favourite so the market may be a decent guide but, on form, Cork second TELL THE BOYS has every chance with her experience and Barry Stone's 7lb claim from the saddle. The President is one to watch as a daughter of Walk In The Park out of the high-class mare Benie Des Dieux, although she should be better over further in time. Vadique is also bred to win a race or two as a daughter of Vadamos.
