TUBA has won his last two starts on the Flat and could be hard to deal with if he transfers that form to hurdles. Although his previous form in this discipline is unremarkable, this race lacks strength in depth and Fergal O'Brien's five-year-old is the pick of a modest bunch. Off an official rating of 100, Madajovy sets the standard and could have a say. Popa Rich and The Kings Soldier are the pick of the rest.
Prediction : 1st Tuba 2nd Madajovy 3rd Popa Rich

Getting weight from her elders could be advantageous for the consistent ALIBEY, who has filled the runner-up berth on her last three starts and is presented with a good opportunity to get off the mark on these terms. Next best is Never Told Me, who has undergone wind surgery since she was a promising second on her most recent start, while Skye Glance doesn't have an insurmountable task on her hands debuting over timber.
Prediction : 1st Alibey 2nd Never Told Me 3rd Skye Glance

Based on his official rating over hurdles, NOT FOR PASSIN has been found a winnable race for his chasing debut. A good second on his sole start in the point-to-point sphere, the switch to the larger obstacles looks a natural move. Getaway Jewel is generally consistent over fences and must be feared now he is back on a winning mark. Most Wanted looks a better alternative than Chateau Du Lys.
Prediction : 1st Not For Passin 2nd Getaway Jewel 3rd Most Wanted

2024 Derby runner-up Ambiente Friendly has been a little disappointing over hurdles thus far and, despite dropping in class after a mid-division finish at Sandown, the hat-trick seeking AN BRADAN FEASA is fancied to get the better of him. Sean Bowen's mount showed a likeable attitude when striking at Worcester and Southwell in the autumn and a recent spin (second) on the Flat at Lingfield will have blown any cobwebs away. Dual C&D winner Hello Sweety could prove best of the remaining pair.
Prediction : 1st An Bradan Feasa 2nd Ambiente Friendly 3rd Hello Sweety

Following a string of lacklustre performances, HURRICANE BAY bounced back to form in fine style at Huntingdon and a subsequent 5lb rise still leaves him on a 5lb lower mark than when winning this contest 12 months ago. He gets the vote to edge out Coastguard Station, whose last couple of efforts off a 1lb higher rating have been encouraging. Nickelforce rates best of the remainder, although he possibly needs to come down another pound or two before returning to the winner's enclosure.
Prediction : 1st Hurricane Bay 2nd Coastguard Station 3rd Nickelforce

This effectively looks a match between last-time-out hurdle winners NOTTODAYBOBO and Market House. Both ran to a similar level when winning at Market Rasen and Plumpton respectively, but the former gamely battled off all challengers on the front end and it could be a similar scenario here. James Owen's charge has had a couple of spins on the Flat this month so certainly won't be found wanting for fitness, while Gone In Sixty looks most likely to take third.
Prediction : 1st Nottodaybobo 2nd Market House 3rd Gone In Sixty
