Out of a winning half-sister to a Listed scorer, the selection showed plenty pace when also racing quite keenly at Roscommon and, while he faded late on, dropping in distance can help and he should also settle better. The Scallinator has run well twice and bumped into a capable type at Navan earlier his month. Ischgl finished ahead of Belicoso at the Curragh in early-May, when the latter was making his debut.

CITRUS SPRINGS was a 300,000-dollar breeze-up purchase and might score on debut. Out of a half-sister to an American Grade 2 winner and from the first crop of her stallion, the selection was purchased at Ocala in Florida in March and, being Group 2 entered and presumably possessing pace, she should be able to race prominently at today's turning course. Big Negotiator, a half-sister to an Italian Listed winner, was heavily supported when finishing third on debut earlier this month and has an experience edge. Debutant Madam Secretary will likely know her job and, being out of a half-sister to Group 1 winner Garswood, could be smart. Beibhinn finished fourth to a subsequent Group 3 winner at Naas in April.

APACHE OUTLAW is admittedly a better horse racing on all-weather surfaces but reverts to turf competing from a lower rating, and also drops in class. The selection has won twice on grass, he ran well in a Curragh handicap last August and, with his turf rating having since slipped to 73, he now meets today's rivals Little Empire and Inishfallen on much better terms than on their recent all-weather meetings. Aurora Nova's rating has slipped back down to a manageable level, while Dragon Of Malta is a three-time course winner but ideally wants softer ground.

SATOYAMA is a half-brother to two German black type performers and put in a nice performance to win a maiden earlier this month. Slowly away on debut in April, he scored easily from a subsequent winner at Gowran last time and, being suited by good ground and this distance, he should figure at the business end. Stablemate Listentothewindblow finished ahead of Thread Of Gold in the Eyrefield Stakes last October and, while Thread Of Gold had previously shown more when scoring on debut last August, he has a little to prove here. Straight Up drops in class but needs to show more, and Tim Toe may be caught for toe at today's trip.

It is hoped THE BLUE PANTHER can return to form following a poor effort in April, but he is a dual course winner. Rated 94 at his peak back in 2021, the selection scored here both in 2024 and '25 and, while beaten a long way at Gowran last time, he could improve considerably from that and has never run badly at today's course. Liamo won last year's renewal of this race from 7lb lower, while Exceeding is just 3lb higher than when scoring narrowly at Leopardstown last month. Dual winner Zabriskie Point and Secret Magician both arrive in decent form, and James Henry has a long layoff to overcome but debuts for new connections.

Grade 1-winning hurdler BALLYADAM looks capable of scoring off this mark on the Flat. He bumped into one at Ballinrobe last time when chasing home Trojan Fighter, who wasn't disgraced in Listed company subsequently. This looks an easier task despite having to carry top-weight. Sonic Invader showed improvement when stepped up in trip at Gowran Park recently and he could be a danger going a bit further again. Desert Friend won impressively at Sligo earlier in the month and is another that is respected, despite an 8lb hike for that victory.

NDAAWI comes out best at the weights here and is fancied to score. The Cracksman gelding arrives in winning form having scored over timber at Cork early last month. He gets a 5lb pull from chief rival Sky Captain and that could prove the difference. Paddy Twomey's charge ran a big race when second to Kizlyar at Killarney on his return recently. He has a mark 2lb above his rival but does have to carry a penalty. The Mediator has a bit to find on ratings but should pick up some prize money.
