The daughter of Sea The Stars is closely related to three winners and is fitted with a tongue-tie. Black Chicken cost 38,000 euros as a yearling and the Sottsass filly kept on to be fourth of seven in that barrier trial. The Slatterys have done well with siblings of Spring Sprinter, but the Elzaam filly may excel over further in time.

BRAINS is firmly in the veteran category, but he looks capable of recording a 15th career success. The Dandy Man gelding travelled like a winner for most of the way over an extended 7f at Roscommon before being cut down by a filly who was winning for the third time this year. Although he is now 4lb higher, that may not stop him if he turns up in the same form. Royal County Glory ran well in a higher grade at Fairyhouse and merits consideration on this quick turnaround, while C&D third Hale Bopp is a useful back-up for the selection's trainer.

A maiden winner at Bellewstown on just her second start, STELLAR QUALITY returned from a long layoff with a respectable run against some smart opponents in a slowly-run conditions event at Killarney. The Wootton Bassett filly is entitled to come on for that outing and she could be on a reasonable mark, with plenty of scope for improvement as well. After an easy win at Navan, Obscenity stepped up to this trip for the first time when second at Roscommon and he could have more to offer. Satono Chevalier received a 7lb rise for each of his recent wins and that may preclude the hat-trick.

A course winner as a juvenile, CHICA GUERRERA finished last season with some fine efforts in defeat and her second at Sligo last month was also creditable. She didn't fare quite as well at Leopardstown last time, but wasn't beaten far in fourth. Two of Thrifty Of Digby's four wins have come at this venue and a 5lb hike for her decisive win at Roscommon seems reasonable. That was over 7f, but she also has a 1m2f success to her name. Given his solid form in Pattern company, HARDY WARRIOR looks likely to be a warm order and could be hard to beat. Fourth in a Group 1 at Saint-Cloud in October, he again performed well in France when third in the Group 3 Prix Noailles at Longchmap in April. Course winner Perisher has plenty to find with his stablemate on ratings, but won easily when stepped up to 1m2f at Naas and is capable of further progression. Manton Bay hit the front too soon when second in a premier handicap at Navan and might make the frame.

The vote goes to Joseph O'Brien's CHANGING LANES, who stepped forward from a promising debut effort to finish a narrow second at Roscommon. He probably didn't find as much as expected when hitting the front over that extended 1m2f but, with cheekpieces applied for the first time, he could find the required progress. Confused made a pleasing introduction and must enter calculations from a handy draw, likewise the Willie Mullins-trained Sharkeyboy given that Colin Keane gets aboard for the first time.

ACCELEREIGHT showed improvement on his second handicap outing when chasing home A Pretty Penny at Ballinrobe last month and looks capable of scoring off this mark. That form has received a couple of boosts recently and he looks the one to be on. Pliny was a solid third at Sligo last time and has actually been dropped a couple of pounds since. He is interesting, and so is Roaming Coyote.

A PRETTY PENNY was a good winner at Ballinrobe last month and may be able to follow up. The Coulsty filly scored by a convincing two and a half lengths and a 6lb rise doesn't look harsh. She had a couple of subsequent winners in behind that day so the form looks solid. Neon Eyes kept on, despite running keenly, on her handicap debut here and could be a danger now stepping up in trip. The well-bred Amrum hasn't set the world on fire in his maidens but could play a prominent role now in handicap company.
