Miss U Gino (0.5pt ew)

Best price 33/1.

The likes of Queen Of Christmas, Senorita Bonita and Terminology will all hold Royal Ascot aspirations but I am willing to take a chance on MISS U GINO (best priced at 33/1) who caught my eye on her debut at Newmarket. The Philip McBride trained filly was professional on her debut when racing prominently over 6f before weakening late on into 5th.

The winner that day Jolivette looks set to take her chance in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot so the form of that race looks noteworthy despite the fourth Queencard disappointing since. She looks overpriced dropped back to 5f with Saffie Osborne, who rode a winner for this stable on Sunday, taking over on board.

Fortamour (1pt)

Best price 10/3.

The Ben Haslam trained FORTAMOUR (best priced at 10/3) is a six-time course and distance winner and drops down in grade having finished a head 2nd here last time. The ten-year-old has won off equal or higher marks than his current rating of 75 ten times in his career including off this mark in November at Newcastle.

Fortamour outran odds of 25/1 to finish a head 2nd in a Class 4 0-85 handicap over this course and distance last time and he now drops into this Class 5 0-75 handicap. This is the first time that he has dropped into a Class 5 handicap since his victory in November and he looks sure to run well.
