Pearl Eye (1pt)
Best Price 2/1.
The Jim Goldie trained PEARL EYE (best priced at 2/1) has run well on his two starts for this yard and
he looks the one to beat with Paul Mulrennan taking over on board. The six-year-old has won seven
times in his career with his previous five victories all coming off marks higher than his current rating
of 72.
Pearl Eye was caught further back than ideal in a slowly run race dominated by front runners last
time at Ayr and with Qitaal and Highland Olly in this field there should be a strong pace. He looks the
one to beat in this easier contest.

Kaori (1pt)
Best price 7/2.
The well related KAORI (best priced at 7/2) looks well handicapped off an opening mark of 72 and
she can make a winning reappearance. The George Boughey trained filly is a half-sister to the 113
rated listed winner Boiling Point and she makes her handicap debut off an opening mark of 72.
Kaori has run with credit on her three starts to date over 7f but she should be much better suited by
this step up in trip to 1m2f. She faces rivals who are much more exposed and she can hopefully get
off the mark at the fourth attempt.
