Although Arishka's Dream was disappointing on turf bow at Ripon in April, he cannot be dismissed on the back of a gelding operation. The Kublers' gelding had previously looked progressive on the all-weather and is worthy of consideration, but GUERNSEY LADY edges the vote. The Coulsty filly returned with a solid third at Bath recently and a 1lb ease in the ratings may prove lenient. Tie Fighter is the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Guernsey Lady 2nd Arishkas Dream 3rd Tie Fighter

Having made a winning debut at Haydock a fortnight ago, PERSIAN LAND could be set to double his tally. Jack Dace's 5lb claim could prove a real asset and this longer trip should suit the son of Persian Force. There is also likely to be more to come from Real Trouble now he has the benefit of experience, while Galipi is a half-brother to four winners and warrants a betting check on his racecourse bow.
Prediction : 1st Persian Land 2nd Real Trouble 3rd Galipi

Auburn Avenue ended last year's campaign for previous connections with a narrow defeat at Dundalk and she shouldn't be far away if performing to a similar level on her seasonal/stable debut. However, the five-year-old would make more appeal in headgear, which could leave the door open for the downgraded NAKAAHA. Grace Harris' filly hasn't been disgraced on her last two outings in class 4 company and she's attractively treated. Last month's Wolverhampton winner Devious Devan and Grey Soul are feasible alternatives.
Prediction : 1st Nakaaha 2nd Auburn Avenue 3rd Devious Devan

Salkadan likely has a future over hurdles, but is kept to this discipline for now having made all at Haydock last time. Dan Skelton's charge can feature again, along with the recent Wolverhampton winner Kelly Burn, but it could be the turn of WILLOW WOOD. The daughter of Wootton Bassett should have come on a good deal for her reappearance/handicap debut and Ed Walker's filly looks sure to relish this extra test of stamina.
Prediction : 1st Willow Wood 2nd Salkadan 3rd Kelly Burn

Only fourth back in handicap company last time, BELLE AMIE had won one of these events at Wolverhampton prior to that. She looks worthy of another chance back at this level with Jack Dace's 5lb allowance further helping her cause. Highland Harvey (second) has a bit to find with the selection on that Wolverhampton form, although he has placed again subsequently. He is a bigger threat than Change Of Fortune of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Belle Amie 2nd Highland Harvey 3rd Change Of Fortune

MIGHTY QUIET steps up in distance having won over 1m2f at Windsor last term. Only 2lb higher here with a recent reappearance under her belt, Harry Charlton's charge could prove to be the one to side with off what looks a workable mark. Zambezi Magic would prefer slower ground but has won seven times at this venue and is not totally discounted, while Ghost Story is another with a shout if the rain arrives.
Prediction : 1st Mighty Quiet 2nd Zambezi Magic 3rd Ghost Story
