TIP 1: Allegresse - 0.5pt EW
Best odds of 11/2 at bet365 while publishing.
Andrew Balding has an excellent record in this winning it in 2017, 2019 and 2022 and having the
runner-up in 2024 so ALLEGRESSE (best priced at 11/2) looks to hold strong claims. The three-year-
old won two novice races at Kempton last season before slightly disappointing behind Pierre
Bonnard in the Group 3 Zetland Stakes on his final start last season.
Allegresse caught the eye on his reappearance when last of four over a mile at Goodwood in a
conditions race and he now makes his handicap debut off a mark of 93. The step back up to 1m2f
looks a positive, while the return of Oisin Murphy on board further enhances his claims.

TIP 2: Give it To Me Oj - 0.5pt EW
Best odds of 13/2 at 888Sport while publishing.
The booking of Toby Moore on GIVE IT TO ME OJ (best priced at 13/2) catches the eye and the five-
year-old can hopefully make it 3/3 over this course and distance. The gelding won both the Jump
Jockeys Derby and Apprentices’ Derby last season before winning back over hurdles at Cheltenham
in October.
Give It To Me Oj travelled well for the majority of the 2 mile trip at Goodwood on his reappearance
when weakening into 3/1 and he looks sure to appreciate this drop back in trip to 1m4f with up to
five places available.

TIP 3: Badri - 0.5pt EW
Best odds of 28/1 at bet365 while publishing.
The Michael Herrington trained BADRI (best priced at 28/1) has contested this race for the previous
three seasons and should give another good account of himself this year. The nine-year-old won this
in 2023 off a mark of 96, finished a never nearer 7 th off a mark of 98 in 2024 before finishing 3 rd
beaten only a length last year off a mark of 88.
Badri runs this year off a mark of 90, having been raised 3lbs for his victory at Redcar last time, and
looks capable of mounting another bold bid from a good draw in Stall 10.
