Fine Point recorded a clear-cut success over 2m here last month and has to be respected given that Patrick Mullins takes the mount, but he does have stamina to prove at this longer trip and it might be that C'MON SO is the value. The five-year-old didn't pull up any trees in maiden/novice company but he goes handicapping from a modest opening mark, and he could do better now. Malangen and Cuillin Ridge are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Cmon So 2nd Fine Point 3rd Malangen

Harry Derham won the corresponding event 12 months ago and is fancied to repeat the dose courtesy of SUDBURY HILL. The Cotai Glory gelding achieved the most of these on the level, filling the runner-up spot from a handicap mark of 75 as recently as April. Should he take to this new discipline, the bay is likely to have too much for Irish raider Mount Eden, while the Dan Skelton-trained Tiny Riot is another that merits respect.
Prediction : 1st Sudbury Hill 2nd Mount Eden 3rd Tiny Riot

CONQUER THE BREEZE has really turned a corner since joining Adam Nicol's team last month. The seven-year-old arrives having notched a brace of comprehensive course wins and although 13lb higher than for the latest of those, he could take some stopping. The recent C&D victor Passengerontheship looks the likeliest danger, but The Clonmel Kid and Out On Her Own should not be underestimated either.
Prediction : 1st Conquer The Breeze 2nd Passengerontheship 3rd The Clonmel Kid

SIR CARNEGIE rarely runs a bad race and arrives here buoyed by his comfortable Perth success. 5lb conditional Shane Fenelon, who knows the gelding well, gets back aboard and, in first-time blinkers, there could be more to come form the six-year-old. Others to keep a close eye on include dual track-and-trip winner No Regrets and Always Busy, who was still going well enough when falling three out at Fakenham.
Prediction : 1st Sir Carnegie 2nd No Regrets 3rd Always Busy

TWO AULD PALS will prove popular in this handicap hurdle and rightly so after an easy C&D success last month under this rider. Connections have found their gelding another really winnable opening and he can strike at the main expense of Mojito Des Mottes, who improved on his handicap debut when taking second at Ascot. Freddy Robinson is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Two Auld Pals 2nd Mojito Des Mottes 3rd Freddy Robinson

A few in with chances in the finale and ABBEY SCOPE gets a tentative vote. He remains unexposed in handicap company and there was a lot to like about the way he won at Kelso last month. Ebselysees is on a hat-trick following a pair of ready Perth triumphs and also commands respect, while Jeteye won last time out over C&D.
Prediction : 1st Abbey Scope 2nd Ebselysees 3rd Jeteye
