Having bumped into a smart type when runner-up at Wexford last month, SUPERSUNDAE can go one better. Off the mark over fences in impressive fashion on his penultimate start at Kilbeggan, the Willie Mullins-trained gelding remains unexposed as a chaser. Easily the best of these over hurdles, this looks a nice opportunity for the son of Authorized to resume winning ways. Sky Lord has yet to open his account over fences but has plenty of experience, including when seventh in a warm Listed handicap at the Festival here in April. He looks the main danger. Winning point-to-pointer Ma Jacks Hill is entitled to improve from his recent chasing debut when third at Limerick last month.
Prediction : 1st Supersundae 2nd Sky Lord 3rd Ma Jacks Hill

Badly hampered before subsequently unseating at the festival here last month, YORADREAMER can gain compensation. An easy winner over this trip at Wexford on his previous start, the Willie Mullins-trained gelding should be suited by this tactical affair. Likely to make the running under Anna McGuinness, the seven-year-old could prove difficult to pass if getting into a rhythm in front. Former point-to-point winner Emily Love is interesting stepping up to this trip for the first time under Rules. A prolific scorer over hurdles, the Gordon Elliott-trained mare remains unexposed over fences. Raglan Road was pulled up here last month but holds every chance on his previous winning effort at Down Royal.
Prediction : 1st Yoradreamer 2nd Emily Love 3rd Raglan Road

Pulled up when sent off favourite for the Mayo National last time, HE'S GORGEOUS can recover losses. Never travelling on that occasion, the Pat Fahy-trained gelding is better judged on his penultimate run when an excellent fifth over course and distance last month. With the forecast rain very much in his favour, the seven-year-old can prove his latest effort to be all wrong. Captain Conby has shaped well enough in two starts after a long absence to suggest that he is capable of adding to his three previous victories. Fairyhouse scorer Me Wee Bonnie Lass should also be noted, despite being raised 8lb for that win.
Prediction : 1st Hes Gorgeous 2nd Captain Conby 3rd Me Wee Bonnie Lass

Second at Ballinrobe last month, MARY'S PRIDE can go one place better. Staying on late to claim minor honours at the western track, the Edward Cawley-trained gelding gave the impression that this step up in trip could see him regain the winning thread. A four-time winner on the Flat when trained in Britain, Cock And Bull is one to note in the market. Sure to be suited by this longer distance, the Make Believe gelding remains capable of better over timber. Lakewood Rose should again run her usual solid race for owner/trainer/jockey Niamh Hennessy.
Prediction : 1st Marys Pride 2nd Cock And Bull 3rd Lakewood Rose

SOME PRETENDER placed in a couple of Listed bumpers after winning on debut at last year's Galway Festival and starts off over hurdles in a weak maiden. Her siblings have won over this trip or farther and, after two runs in April following a winter break, connections will be hoping that she can progress in this discipline over the summer. Prophetess Miriam was second in a couple of useful bumpers and should improve from last month's hurdling debut where she tired having made the running. After eight months off, Crossbar Getaway steps up in trip after filling the runner-up spot at Clonmel.
Prediction : 1st Some Pretender 2nd Crossbar Getaway 3rd Prophetess Miriam

Second in a 3m point-to-point in England, LE QUESTIONNAIRE has found just one too good on his last two starts over hurdles. Gordon Elliott's grey kept plugging away over 2m3f at Downpatrick last time and looks worth trying over this longer trip. Captain Hanley made an encouraging start over hurdles when a staying-on second over 2m4f at Clonmel and can be forgiven unseating at Kilbeggan as the saddle slipped. Jerry From Kerry has yet to match his smart bumper form in this discipline, but he was well backed last time and now takes a marked step up in trip. Will Wilde was disappointing here last month, but the form of his sixth in a Pertemps Qualifier at Leopardstown in late 2024 reads well.
Prediction : 1st Le Questionnaire 2nd Captain Hanley 3rd Will Wilde

JACKMOON had some good bumper form early in his career and has been consistent of late over hurdles. Touched off in a maiden at Cork in April, he was placed in a 3m handicap last time and just needs to find a little more to record a first win. With a recent comeback run under his belt, William Tell, who represents an in-form yard, could be a danger. He won twice last year and the way he stayed an extended 2m6f at Thurles suggests that this trip will hold no fears for him. Stamina is the question mark over Morell River, a dual winner over 2m4f at Wexford.
Prediction : 1st Jackmoon 2nd William Tell 3rd Morell River

A half-sister to Al Boum Photo, AL ARRIVEE drops in class and can record a second bumper victory. After winning at Sligo last summer, the daughter of Tunis competed well against some useful geldings when second at Galway. Returning to action here in April, she had a lot of capable types behind her when fourth to an impressive stablemate in a Grade 3 contest. Brave Lady was outclassed in a Grade 2 at Aintree, but has been placed either side of that effort. Downpatrick winner Coco's Legacy is another to watch out for.
Prediction : 1st Al Arrivee 2nd Brave Lady 3rd Cocos Legacy
