The form of that race has worked out extremely well with the 2nd Besieged winning by 14 length on his next start who is now rated 95, the 4 th winning next time by 2 ¼ lengths and is now rated 90 and even the 10 th Brocklesby Bill winning on his next start.

Heyzoom makes his handicap debut off a mark of 88 despite beating two higher rated rivals off level weights last time and he should continue to progress as a three-year-old given his breeding in a race that his trainer won with subsequent Group 1 winner Hukum in 2020.

TIP 2: Earth Shot - 0.5pt EW

Juddmonte hold a strong hand with both Legacy Link and Gilded Prize but the Oaks runner-up has a quick turnaround only 13 days later and the latter needs to bounce back from a disappointing run last time.

Preference instead goes to EARTH SHOT (best priced at 11/2) who has been purchased by Wathnan Racing with this race as a target. The William Haggas trained filly finished 2 nd behind her stablemate My Ophelia on her debut at Newbury before an impressive five length victory on her reappearance at Newmarket.

Earth Shot finished a head 2 nd behind Inis Mor last time in the Height Of Fashion Stakes at Goodwood
last time over 1m2f when she was inconvenienced by the fact it became a speed test and the winner has boosted the form since finishing 3 rd in the French Oaks. This step up in trip will suit Earth Shot and she looks sure to be involved in the finish.

a month ago and it is really interesting that connections run him in this Group 3 rather than the Golden Gates Handicap later in the week. The John & Thady Gosden trained colt won on his only start as a juvenile before finishing a neck 2 nd behind subsequent Derby runner-up Maltese Cross, who is now rated 114, on his reappearance at Newbury off level weights.

My Love Is King finished 2nd beaten only two lengths in a listed race on his next start and is now fitted with first-time cheekpieces for this race. He has around 10lbs to find on ratings but looks overpriced in an open race.
