DAWN COMING gained plenty of hurdling experience as a juvenile and arrives here following a spin on the level at Limerick. He is likely to have further improvement to come and could prove too strong for Tyson Fury, who has finished runner-up on his last couple of starts over timber. Early Dawning is expected to progress going over hurdles for the first time and he completes the shortlist.Prediction : 1st Early Dawning 2nd Tyson Fury 3rd Dawn Coming

Murcia didn't quite kick on as expected after winning a Grade 1 at Aintree in April 2025 but she was given an ideal confidence booster when scoring at Listowel towards the end of May, with Grainne A Chroi back in third. That said, the step up to 2m4f is a concern and her stable companion DIAMOND DU BERLAIS is preferred. Sixth in the Mares' Novice at Cheltenham in March, she has been freshened up since underperforming at Punchestown and the extra half a mile is most certainly in her favour.Prediction : 1st Diamond Du Berlais 2nd Murcia 3rd Grainne A Chroi

ILLTAKEHIMMYSELF has been knocking on the door in a trio of handicaps since the beginning of the new season and the five-year-old appears to have been found a suitable opportunity to get his head in front. Clone Cross hit the frame at Bellewstown earlier in the month and is capable of being in the mix, along with handicap debutant Lord De Choisel.Prediction : 1st Illtakehimmyself 2nd Clone Cross 3rd Lord De Choisel

KOEUR A PRENDRE showed a lot more on his handicap debut at Clonmel when finishing a solid second and, on that evidence, he certainly looks to have a race of this nature within his compass. Tedworth unseated his rider at Tramore but cannot be overlooked when taking into account you only have to go back three starts for when he won there readily. Papagei is another to take seriously.Prediction : 1st Koeur A Prendre 2nd Tedworth 3rd Papagei

A competitive heat in which GLOBAL SKIES will no doubt prove popular on a hat-trick. He's got a bit more on his plate now than when scoring at Limerick but is clearly on good terms with himself and should be bang there at the business end. Blue Reed won at Kilbeggan and proved that was no fluke when posting a solid Cartmel second. He is respected, as is Speakasyoufind, who finished runner-up behind the selection at Clonmel. Prediction : 1st Global Skies 2nd Blue Reed 3rd Speakasyoufind

Off the track since disappointing at Cheltenham in November, KATAKANA can make a winning reappearance. A dual bumper winner in France, the Henry De Bromhead-trained mare took an age to make the breakthrough in this country but looked a well handicapped horse when easily scoring at Thurles on her penultimate start. Given plenty of time to recover from a below par subsequent run, the six-year-old has strong claims here if fit and ready after that absence. Secret Rock, who made a winning stable debut for Cian Collins at Kilbeggan, has to be respected in his follow up bid. Eoin McCarthy runs three in this race, with Kingdom Calling looking the most interesting of those representatives. Prediction : 1st Katakana 2nd Secret Rock 3rd Kingdom Calling

With the benefit of previous experience, the Andrew Slattery-trained CAISLEAN GEAR should prove difficult to beat. Runner-up on his introduction at Roscommon last month, the son of Galileo Chrome again ran a solid race when fourth at Limerick last time. Unless one of the newcomers proves to be above average, this looks a nice opportunity for the gelding to gain a first win. A half-brother to a seven-time scorer, the Emmet Mullins-trained Inishtearaght has to be of interest. While he may prefer a stiffer test of stamina, any market support for the four-year-old should be noted. Bravemans Call, a debutant from the Eoin McCarthy yard, is another that has to be respected if the market vibes are positive. Prediction : 1st Caislean Gear 2nd Inishtearaght 3rd Bravemans Call

SUPER FREAK is a speculative suggestion on her stable debut for Tom Cooper. A promising sixth at last years Galway festival for previous connections, the five-year-old has been off the track since then. While both fitness and ability have to be taken on trust after an absence, the fact Cooper introduces her at his local track and has gone to the trouble of booking very capable amateur Charlotte Butler, suggests that a big run is expected. Cast A Cold Eye is an obvious contender with Jody Townend taking the ride for Willie Mullins. Placed in both his point-to-point and bumper, Flashy Fred has to be of interest. His trainer Conor Houlihan has made a bright start to his new career. Prediction : 1st Super Freak 2nd Cast A Cold Eye 3rd Flashy Fred
