The ten-year-old won by five lengths off a mark of 91 in 2024 before winning by nine lengths last year off a mark of 94. He runs in this race this year off a mark of 97 having been raised 8lbs for last year’s success up to a mark of 102. 

Secret Secret will have no doubt been targeted at this race and he will no doubt appreciate the drop in grade from a Class 4 0-120 handicap into this Class 5 0-100 handicap.

The George Margarson trained filly outran odds of 28/1 to finish a close 3rd on her debut at Newmarket before racing too keenly at Royal Ascot and in the Group 2 Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes last time. 

The handicapper has given Troublesome Guest an opening mark of 78 based on her three runs to date and if she could prove more retractable in this grade, she can get off the mark in this company.

LEQUINTO (best priced at 10/3) is an eight-time winner at Windsor in his career and he can follow up his recent course and distance success over the reopposing Amazonian Dream. The Tony Carroll trained nine-year-old has been running consistently well with recent form figures on turf of 1331 with both of those victories coming at this track. 

A 5lb rise up to a mark of 77 for his latest success is fair and it is worth remembering that he has won over this course and distance off marks of 88, 83 and 82 in the past. He looks sure to run well once again.
